The Hooper Residential project is by Webster Architecture -amp; Interiors is responsible for architectural and interior design, aiming to create a living environment that is flexible in layout, highly integrated in function, and warm and comfortable at the same time. Its spatial planning focuses on usage efficiency and adaptability, enabling the residence to expand and contract according to different situations to meet the ever-changing usage needs in daily life. The design strategy lies in creating a visual and tactile warmth through the layered application of materials and colors, and ensuring durability under frequent use.

该住宅坐落于一处宽阔的乡村土地上，前身为上世纪70年代的住宅结构。设计团队将原有建筑转化为一座现代山居式度假宅邸，将瑞士木屋般的亲密感与当代优雅气质巧妙融合。内部空间以质感丰富的材质语言为主导，呈现一种酒店般的精致氛围：天然木饰面、石材肌理以及纺织物的混合运用，使每一处细节既具视觉吸引力又兼具实用性。色调层次的构建则进一步强化了空间的沉静与包容性，在光线与阴影的相互作用中显现出温润质感。

This residence is located on a broad rural plot of land and was formerly a residential structure from the 1970s. The design team transformed the original building into a modern mountain-style vacation residence, ingeniously blending the intimacy of a Swiss wooden house with contemporary elegance. The interior space is dominated by a rich and textured material language, presenting a hotel-like refined atmosphere: the mixed use of natural wood veneer, stone texture and textiles makes every detail both visually appealing and practical. The construction of tone gradation further enhances the serenity and inclusiveness of the space, revealing a warm and mellow texture through the interaction of light and shadow.

值得注意的是，该项目在细节处理上展现出极高的工艺水准，从构造节点的收口方式到固定家具与结构之间的过渡逻辑，均体现出设计师对空间耐久性与居住体验的综合考量。Hooper住宅并非简单追求视觉上的现代化，而是在结构重塑与材料更新的基础上，建立起一种与自然、家庭与日常节奏和谐共生的住宅原型。其设计理念回应了当代住宅对于弹性功能与情感温度的双重需求，在形式克制中体现出深层的生活哲学。

It is worth noting that this project demonstrates an extremely high level of craftsmanship in the handling of details. From the finishing method of the structural nodes to the transition logic between the fixed furniture and the structure, all reflect the designers comprehensive consideration of the durability of the space and the living experience. The Hooper residence does not merely pursue visual modernization. Instead, on the basis of structural reshaping and material renewal, it establishes a residential prototype that coexists harmoniously with nature, family and the rhythm of daily life. Its design concept responds to the dual demands of contemporary residences for flexible functions and emotional warmth, embodying a profound philosophy of life in the restraint of form.
