在上海这座历经岁月风霜的城市里，时间留下沧桑的印记，却带不走那一脉相承的生活态度和坚守。而建筑作为容纳“人”的载体，不仅仅是提供居所，更应源于城市的气质和居住者的情感，以塑造更适宜、更舒适，且更富有美学感受的空间。

设计师吴滨先生受梦想改造家节目组委托，面对一座被岁月侵蚀、被空间桎梏的居所，委托人家庭本身的底蕴与细腻考究的生活品味，却让设计师看到了不同场景的可能性。由此，设计师毅然接下这项委托，将自己的情感融入设计，赋予旧宅新生，呈现一处既低调内敛、又不失生活情趣、深情款款的居所。与此同时，也期望通过设计为人们带来更多关于生活方式的灵感和启迪。

W.DESIGN and Dream Home transform a space for two generations, maximizing its potential to showcase lifes grand scenes. Echoing a human-centric ethos, they guide homes and hearts back to cherished Shanghai memories—a dwelling infused with deep affection at every turn.

Designer Mr. Wu Bin from W.DESIGN takes on the Dream Home project, seeing potential in a space shaped by time. The goal is not only to rejuvenate the old home but also to inspire others with fresh lifestyle ideas through thoughtful design.

委托人吴女士出身于知识分子世家，自幼便被上海的生活所陶冶，对这座城市的深情早已在心中生根发芽。在中国泌尿外科奠基人，叔公吴阶平的启迪下，吴女士踏上了学医之途，并在大学毕业之后从事免疫药物的科研工作。然而直至父亲病危，她却未能见到最后一面。看着日渐年迈的母亲，毅然决定调整现有的生活模式，投入更多的时间陪伴母亲，却发现老宅早已变得沧桑斑驳。

出于对这份共同回忆的珍视，吴女士决定对这座老宅改造一新。

Ms. Wu, from an intellectual family, embraced Shanghais life. Inspired by her urologist uncle, she pursued medicine in the U.S. When her father fell ill, she adjusted her life to care for her aging mother. Regretfully, their old home showed signs of aging. Driven by cherished memories, Ms. Wu decided to renovate the residence.

上世纪二十年代，吴女士的曾祖父购得了长乐路上一座独特中西合璧的庭院建筑，名其为“退耕小筑”。百年老房由砖木构建，院内共有两处独立平房，其中南楼占地约40平方米，而北楼稍大，为60平方米。但随着岁月的推移，房屋结构安全岌岌可危。屋顶和墙体已出现塌陷，漏水与霉变问题严重，导致墙体和天花板开裂、脱皮。且原始布局不合理，已无法满足两位老人和吴女士的日后生活及工作需要。同时，房屋内缺乏适老化设施，对两位年迈的老人而言，生活处处充满安全隐患，难以为他们提供一个安心、宁静的居所。

In the 1920s, Ms. Wus great-grandfather acquired a unique blend of Chinese and Western architecture on Changle Road, naming it Tuigen Xiaozhu. The century-old house, built with brick and wood, faces structural risks with collapsing roofs and walls. Issues like leaks, mold, and impractical layout make it unsuitable for the elderly residents needs. The lack of aging facilities poses safety concerns, hindering a secure and peaceful living environment for both elderly ladies.

这里的时间空间，伴随着人们到来又离去，不断更叠。无间设计希望通过设计拾起过去的能量，以感受一种超越时间和空间的“永恒”。家族的历史在老宅中感受情感的传承，赋予房屋独特的魅力。无间设计希望为使用者创造一个可以重温回忆的场所，同时建立与光、植物等自然元素更紧密联系的空间。更为重要的是，为沧桑斑驳的旧宅，重新赋予其感观的宁静和心境的抚慰，终而提升使用者的生活品质。

W.DESIGN aims to harness the energy of the past, creating a space that transcends time and space, offering users a place to relive memories. The design seeks to establish a closer bond with natural elements while providing a tranquil and comforting ambiance to elevate the quality of life for the inhabitants of the weathered old house.

The southern building, originally named Yi Ju, has been transformed with an optimized layout and improved ventilation. The interior expansion enhances storage, and the redesigned facade fosters a more livable and nature-integrated environment.

穿越经过细致整理的庭院，瞥见一旁的的太湖石，虽样看似平凡，但对委托人来说，却曾是父亲微信头像的图案，寄托着深厚的感情。透过朦朦的老上海毛玻璃，视线穿越廊道，窥见记忆中的芭蕉树，在吴女士回到新家之前，回忆已如涌泉般在脑海中浮现。

Walking through the well-kept courtyard, a simple Taihu stone triggers strong emotions for the client—it was her fathers WeChat profile picture. Through the misty glass, memories of a banana tree resurface before Ms. Wu returns to her new home.

进入南楼客厅，室内空间被温暖的原木所包裹。纯粹而自然，透过空间的肌理和质感传达着温馨与宁静。天花板，通过有趣的凹凸设计，在局部抬高与开口。起起伏伏，形塑空间的灵动感，从视觉上消除原有房屋过于低矮的逼仄感。同时，透过高窗的塑造将阳光引入室内，通透而明亮。当百叶窗落下时，朝向庭院的视界被遮蔽，空间瞬间静寂下来，便置身于远离尘嚣的东方诗意之中。

In the southern buildings living room, the natural wood tones create a pure and tranquil atmosphere. The extended ceiling eliminates a cramped feel, and tall windows bring in bright sunlight. Closing the blinds transforms the space into a serene retreat, away from the hustle and bustle.

空间内，家具、设计细节与装饰相得益彰，共同构成一个和谐的空间整体。无论是沙发还是桌子都经过空间的考量，定制而成，以满足居者的需求。当访客莅临时，即可更自由灵活地根据人数调整家具形态，呈现出多样的布局。大理石纹理的壁炉静静地矗立着，当火焰燃起，温暖扑上心头，勾勒出记忆里上海的考究。壁炉内部，巧妙嵌入储物空间，美观之余兼具实用。柜门轻启，一座木制迷你吧映入眼帘，灯光随之亮起，处处充满设计的巧思与惊喜。

Furniture and design in the space harmoniously blend together. The marble-textured fireplace, with integrated storage, brings warmth and memories of Shanghai. Opening a cabinet unveils a stylish wooden mini-bar, lit with clever design touches.

厨房被设计为完全地面向庭院，通过明亮的操作区和深色木制吧台，形成“明-暗-自然”的和谐过渡。让厨房的动线更直接明了，方便委托人更好照顾母亲的需求。打开窗户，台面内外连通，形成一米多宽的超尺度桌子。方便操作的同时，将庭院与厨房的互动巧妙地串联起来。在宜人的空间里，摆上一盘精致的点心，插上一束鲜花，倾听庭院中的鸟声，便能度过一个宁静而令人愉悦的下午。

The kitchen embraces nature with a bright workspace and a dark wooden bar facing the courtyard. This design simplifies the layout for easy caregiving and provides a pleasant space for tranquil afternoons with pastries and flowers.

客厅旁的楼梯通往天台，与墙体呈现明显分离，设计上采用全悬空形式，以减少积水对墙面的侵蚀。当柔和的光线透过楼梯投射，为其赋予雕塑般的形态美感。沿着楼梯一路向上，两旁绿植丛生。楼顶设计成吧台，天气晴好时，倚栏眺望新旧交融的上海天际线，品味咖啡的同时，在自然中找寻闲情逸致，便能激发对未来的信心。

The rooftop staircase, separated from the wall and suspended, minimizes water damage. Surrounded by greenery, it encourages both generations to find leisure in nature, promoting elders active engagement for a more enthusiastic and confident life.

当一天充实的生活告一段落。卧室，则静静藏匿于木墙背后。高窗以一种现代的形态呈现几何比例的美感，形成设计对视线的管理，为卧室注入更为私密的氛围。仰望则可窥见树梢婆娑的绿叶，或是室内光束的投射，宁静而远离外界喧嚣，置身东方美学的诗篇。地面旁辅以自动感应的小夜灯，使夜晚居住更为舒适、安心，充溢着安全的氛围。以小见大，透过微小的细节，呈现空间改造的关怀。

The bedroom, nestled behind wooden walls, provides a serene retreat from the day. Tall windows offer modern geometric beauty, bringing privacy to the bedroom. Automatic night lights enhance comfort and safety, showcasing a transformative Eastern aesthetic through subtle details.

原本狭窄、昏暗、杂乱的卫生间经过重新梳理和打造，焕然一新，变成卧室内的一个宁静角落。置身浴缸，一天的疲劳便得以消除，窗外绿意在视线中舒展，宁静而充满远意。

The revitalized bathroom, once cramped and dim, becomes a tranquil corner in the bedroom. Immersed in the bathtub, the days fatigue dissolves, offering a view of soothing greenery for a serene and contemplative experience.

40平方米的南楼“怡居”已完成了改造，而北楼的改造仍在有序地进行中。由于北楼历史保护建筑的身份，原计划在有限范围内做出调整，然而在拆旧的过程中，团队发现木梁立柱损坏程度远超预期，为了安全考量，其亟需经过更为漫长的历保改造“专家评审流程”来修复结构。尽管这次梦想改造家未能呈现最终的落成效果，但可期待的是，不久的将来北楼将重新展现出它的美，是一种属于上海城市的雅致，也是一种每个人对美的期盼。

The northern building, a historical site, awaits extensive restoration in the Dream Home project, promising a perfect blend of history and modernity upon completion.

承载记忆的物件，院内错落的绿植，光影与空间的纠缠，不断交错的时间。在不同的时代和变革下，不变的是委托人四代对于生活的追求，似塑造艺术品一般，创造一个代代相传的家。

Memories in objects, scattered greenery, and the interplay of light and space weave through time. Across generations, the pursuit of life remains constant, creating a home passed down like a work of art

美，属于每一个热爱生活的人。生活中，或许有很多人都面临着和吴女士同样的抉择，对于每一个人而言，标准的答案或许并不存在。然而，至为珍贵的是，无论选择何途径，都是为了在时光深处不留下任何遗憾的决心。

设计，当以人为本，唯有深入了解使用者的需求和城市的特点，便令人居心安处。旧城改造是一项多层面的挑战，唯有持续的努力和尝试，才能为中国未来更多的改造奠定基础。无间设计希望透过设计，让城市的记忆深深根植，让居者的情感在其中得以卸下疲惫，使每一寸空间都成为处处深情的栖息之所。

Beauty is for those who love life. In facing decisions like Ms. Wu, theres no standard answer. Whats precious is the determination to leave no regrets, regardless of the chosen path.

Design, centered on people and understanding urban nuances, brings peace. Urban revitalization is a ongoing challenge, and W.DESIGN aims to use design to root city memories, creating tender refuges for residents to find solace.
