该项目展示了跨文化住宅设计如何在满足当代居住需求的同时回应中东沙漠环境的特质。设计通过深思熟虑的材质体系与文化敏感度，将东方的精致审美与海湾地区的开放气质串联起来。在保留原有结构框架的基础上，项目以适度改造为策略，通过精准的家具布置及有限介入提升空间表现，而非依赖全面重建。这一方法弥补了当地常见饰面在细节与质感上的不足，同时在成本、效率与个性表达之间取得平衡，使空间更契合居者的生活节奏与审美偏好。

This project showcases how cross-cultural residential design can respond to the characteristics of the Middle Eastern desert environment while meeting contemporary living needs. Through a thoughtful material system and cultural sensitivity, the design connects the refined aesthetics of the East with the open spirit of the Gulf region. While preserving the original structural framework, the project employs a strategy of moderate modification, enhancing spatial expression through precise furniture placement and limited interventions, rather than relying on complete reconstruction. This approach compensates for the lack of detail and texture in commonly used local finishes, while achieving a balance between cost, efficiency, and individual expression, making the space more compatible with the residents lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.

在供应体系差异显著的背景下，设计采取结合本地材料与外部特选资源的方式，以确保材质稳定性并保持空间表达的纯粹性。文化意象以低调方式体现，通过材质语言而非直接装饰呈现：温暖的米色墙面与天花结构回应沙地在阳光下的色调变化；粗糙的天然石肌理让人联想到干燥地貌的岩层；浅棕色与米色石材的组合形成柔和而稳定的基底，使住宅在光照变化间呈现富有质地的层次。这样的构建方式让空间既具跨文化特征，又牢牢扎根于当地景观与气候的本质。

Given the significant differences in supply systems, the design combines local materials with specially selected external resources to ensure material stability and maintain the purity of spatial expression. Cultural imagery is subtly expressed through material language rather than direct decoration: warm beige walls and ceiling structures respond to the tonal variations of the sand under sunlight; rough natural stone textures evoke the rock layers of arid landscapes; the combination of light brown and beige stone forms a soft and stable base, allowing the residence to present textured layers as light changes. This construction approach allows the space to have both cross-cultural characteristics and be firmly rooted in the essence of the local landscape and climate.
