Studio Valerie Name
Studio Valerie Name has always believed that living spaces are extensions of our inner lives and reflections of our self-image. They mirror how we navigate the world and what we hold dear. Through bespoke creations, thoughtful material selection, and deliberate design decisions, the studio treats each project as an opportunity—not only to elevate the quality of the space itself, but to subtly enrich the vibrant experiences that unfold within it.
This spacious residence nestled within the landscape of Greenwich, Connecticut, has undergone a meticulous and restrained renovation. The design both honors its Georgian heritage and allows it to gracefully adapt to the rhythms of contemporary living. Rather than concealing or obscuring its past, the project embraces and extends its heritage. It achieves a delicate equilibrium between the architectures restrained simplicity and the richly layered spatial experience, creating a harmonious coexistence.
Toronjos 住宅
Toronjos
Oronjos is a vacation residence designed to coexist harmoniously with its natural surroundings. From the projects inception, the design prioritized respect for the site. By minimizing the buildings footprint on the land, sustainable principles were integrated throughout the planning and construction process. This approach allows the structure to blend into nature while creating a low-impact, enduring spatial environment.
This residence was conceived as a tranquil retreat fostering a profound connection between humanity and nature. The staggered walls and generously sized openings along the buildings perimeter provide essential protection and a sense of enclosure while allowing the landscape to naturally permeate the interior spaces.
