让神圣的静，把日常轻轻托起

当一座教会建筑转化为住宅，它不是被改写，而是被轻轻续写。设计以极致克制为原则，让原本庄重的空间基因自然延伸：高挑的天花、彩色玻璃投射的光影、清晰而自信的材质，都成为新的生活场景中最动人的背景。改造并没有试图覆盖历史，而是以“延续”为方法——从楼梯间深绿色大理石汲取灵感，带入浴室的色调；以烟熏橡木拼花为空间增添温度；保留通往前礼堂的橡木门和雕刻般的金属门把手。这些沉静而精准的细节，让生活仿佛在与建筑的过去对话。

When a church building is transformed into a residence, its not rewritten, but gently continued. The design adheres to the principle of extreme restraint, allowing the original solemn spatial genes to extend naturally: the high ceilings, the light and shadow cast by the stained glass, and the clear and confident materials all become the most moving backdrop for the new living environment. The renovation doesnt attempt to erase history, but rather uses continuation as its method—drawing inspiration from the deep green marble of the stairwell and bringing it into the bathrooms color scheme; adding warmth to the space with smoked oak inlay; retaining the oak doors leading to the former chapel and the sculpted metal door handles. These quiet and precise details make life feel like a dialogue with the buildings past.

空间的“新生”也以同样克制的方式展示出来：不是典型的剪彩，而是一场策展式开幕，让工艺、艺术与建筑融为一个临时叙事。保留的铝制教堂门与彩色玻璃窗依旧塑造着抵达的仪式感；而曾经的会众厅，如今成为柔和而明亮的起居空间。新的纹理玻璃门轻轻划分动线，深绿色大理石与矿物灰泥墙呼应楼梯原有的调性，将浴室打造为宛如花园般的宁静角落。每一处更新都不喧哗，却让过去与当下自然对接，让“居住”成为时代之间最优雅的延续。

The rebirth of the space is also presented in the same restrained way: not a typical ribbon-cutting ceremony, but a curated opening, allowing craftsmanship, art, and architecture to merge into a temporary narrative. The preserved aluminum church doors and stained glass windows still shape a sense of ceremony upon arrival; while the former congregational hall has now become a soft and bright living space. New textured glass doors gently divide the flow of movement, while deep green marble and mineral stucco walls echo the original tone of the staircase, transforming the bathroom into a tranquil corner resembling a garden. Every update is understated yet seamlessly connects the past and present, making living the most elegant continuation across eras.
