坐落在自然峡谷之中的这座田园住宅，由建筑事务所Wallmakers设计，呈现出桥梁与居所兼具的独特形态。住宅建于一条七米深的泄水槽上方，原有地形对建筑提出了诸多限制：必须跨越两块地皮，同时避免在三十米宽的泄水槽区域设立地基，并预留空间供机械清理流经其下的溪流。设计团队最终提出了“桥梁住宅”的概念，一座长三十米的悬索桥式结构，由四条抛物线型曲线组成，采用最少量的钢管与钢索提供拉力支撑，同时以稻草与泥土混合材料构筑，兼具压缩强度与生态可持续性。

This rural residence, located in a natural canyon, was designed by the architectural firm Wallmakers and presents a unique form that combines the characteristics of a bridge and a dwelling. The residence is built above a seven-meter-deep drainage channel. The original terrain imposed many restrictions on the architecture: it had to cross two plots of land, avoid setting the foundation in the thirty-meter-wide drainage channel area, and reserve space for mechanical cleaning of the stream flowing beneath it. The design team ultimately proposed the concept of Bridge House, a thirty-meter-long suspension bridge structure composed of four parabolic curves. It uses the minimum amount of steel pipes and steel cables for tension support, and is constructed with a mixture of straw and soil, combining compressive strength and ecological sustainability.

住宅如同漂浮在峡谷林间，与周围密集植被相互融合。外层稻草覆盖受穿山甲鳞片启发，兼具保温与降温功能，使得结构可轻量化，仅需四个地基以减轻对地形的影响。泥土抹灰不仅阻止啮齿类动物入侵，也增强了整体压缩强度，使住宅在缺少垂直悬挂柱的情况下依然稳固。418平方米的空间设计开放，中庭以天窗形式呈现，让光线与雨水自然渗入内部。四间卧室面向森林或溪流，透过黄麻格栅、轻型木结构和再生船木地板，形成与外部环境的有机对话，同时体现适应性再利用理念。

The residence floats among the trees in the canyon, blending seamlessly with the dense vegetation around it. The outer layer is covered with straw, inspired by pangolin scales, which not only provides insulation and cooling but also makes the structure lightweight. Only four foundations are needed to reduce the impact on the terrain. The plastering of the soil not only prevents the invasion of rodents but also enhances the overall compressive strength, ensuring the stability of the residence even without vertical suspended columns. The 418-square-meter space is designed to be open, with a central atrium presented in the form of a skylight, allowing natural light and rainwater to penetrate the interior. The four bedrooms face the forest or the stream. Through jute grilles, lightweight wooden structures and recycled shipwood floors, an organic dialogue with the external environment is formed, while embodying the concept of adaptive reuse.

室内空间延续外部的有机逻辑，泥土表面宛如呼吸的第二皮肤，可调节温度并柔化光线。带有沟槽纹理的穹顶吸音效果良好，营造出静谧的氛围。家具同样选用天然材料与本地资源，包括实木桌面、植物纤维编织椅及绳索编制的装饰件，强化空间连续性。室内布局流动性强，无硬质隔墙，休憩区与公共区通过视觉过渡空间连接。黄麻格栅与轻木结构替代传统墙体，实现光线筛滤与自然通风，卧室、浴室及起居区共享一种内省氛围，使得内外空间界限自然融合。在主卧中，独立浴缸与空间融为一体，半透明面板将日光调成温润琥珀色，塑造宁静而精致的居住体验。

The interior space continues the organic logic of the exterior, with the earthy surface resembling the second skin that breathes, capable of regulating temperature and softening light. The domed ceiling with grooved texture has excellent sound absorption properties, creating a serene atmosphere. The furniture is also made from natural materials and local resources, including solid wood tabletops, plant fiber-woven chairs, and rope-structured decorative pieces, reinforcing the continuity of the space. The interior layout is highly fluid, without hard partitions, and the relaxation area is connected to the public area through a visual transition space. Jute grilles and lightwood structures replace traditional walls, achieving light filtering and natural ventilation. The bedroom, bathroom, and living area share an introspective atmosphere, allowing for a natural blending of the internal and external spaces. In the master bedroom, the separate bathtub integrates seamlessly with the space, and the translucent panel transforms the sunlight into a warm amber color, creating a serene and refined living experience.
