Driftwood C27住宅坐落在美国德克萨斯州奥斯汀近郊的Driftwood高尔夫牧场社区，环抱在起伏的丘陵与广袤的自然景致之间。该项目由Hudgins Design Group（哈金斯设计集团）操刀，设计理念着眼于现代美学与在地环境的共鸣，呈现出当代住宅对舒适、实用与艺术性的多重追求。

The Driftwood C27 residence is located in the Driftwood Golf Ranch community on the outskirts of Austin, Texas, USA, surrounded by undulating hills and vast natural scenery. This project is handled by Hudgins Design Group. The design concept focuses on the resonance between modern aesthetics and the local environment, presenting the multiple pursuits of contemporary residences for comfort, practicality and artistry.

在外部形态上，建筑以简练的几何线条为骨架，浅色石材与大面积玻璃勾勒出清爽的立面。透过玻璃，室内外景致相互渗透，使建筑边界被有意模糊，带来开阔的视觉体验。屋顶的木结构不仅为整体气质注入一丝温润，也在遮阳与调和环境方面发挥作用，让建筑自然地融入地貌之中，而不显突兀。

In terms of external form, the building is framed by simple geometric lines, with light-colored stones and large areas of glass outlining a refreshing facade. Through the glass, the indoor and outdoor views interpenetrate, deliberately blurring the boundaries of the building and creating an expansive visual experience. The wooden structure of the roof not only infuses a touch of warmth into the overall atmosphere but also plays a role in shading and harmonizing the environment, allowing the building to blend naturally into the landscape without appearing out of place.

室内空间的组织兼顾开放与私密。公共区域——如客厅、餐厅和厨房——以连贯的布局营造流动的空间感，大面积落地窗将光影与远景引入，使日常起居与自然环境形成连贯的对话。与之形成对照的是卧室和其他私密空间，强调安静与舒适，令居住者能在开放与独处之间自由切换。

The organization of the interior space takes into account both openness and privacy. Public areas such as the living room, dining room and kitchen are designed with a coherent layout to create a sense of flowing space. Large floor-to-ceiling Windows bring in light, shadow and distant views, forming a continuous dialogue between daily life and the natural environment. In contrast, bedrooms and other private Spaces emphasize quietness and comfort, allowing residents to freely switch between openness and solitude.

材料的运用同样彰显了设计的思考。木材与石材为空间带来温润与厚重感，而简洁的现代家具与灯光系统则维持整体的理性与功能。木质天花与地板与现代设施的碰撞，制造出一种张力，使室内既具当代美感，又延续自然的亲和气质。

The application of materials also demonstrates the designs thinking. Wood and stone bring a sense of warmth and weightiness to the space, while simple modern furniture and lighting systems maintain the overall rationality and functionality. The collision between the wooden ceiling and floor and modern facilities creates a tension, making the interior both contemporary in beauty and continuing the natural affinity.

户外部分也经过精心规划。宽阔的露台与泳池成为社交与休憩的中心，搭配绿植景观和舒适的户外家具，既满足聚会与娱乐的需求，也让人能直接与自然相接触。整体而言，Driftwood C27通过细节与整体的呼应，展现出一种现代居所与自然环境的和谐共生。

The outdoor part has also been carefully planned. The spacious terrace and swimming pool serve as the center for socializing and relaxation. Coupled with green plant landscapes and comfortable outdoor furniture, they not only meet the needs of gatherings and entertainment but also allow people to have direct contact with nature. Overall, the Driftwood C27 showcases a harmonious coexistence of modern residences and the natural environment through the interplay of details and the whole.
