Belgravia is one of Londons most prestigious areas, known for its elegant Georgian architecture, bustling upmarket design shops and cultural residents. From its historic streets to the modernisation of Chelsea Barracks, the area has long attracted artists, writers and celebrities. Located on Whistler Square, this townhouse is one of the highlights of the Chelsea Barracks development and features a private spa, cinema, indoor pool and gym, which perfectly embodies the fusion of classical architecture and modern lifestyle.

Freunds design is not only about placing beautiful objects in a space, but also a narrative about art and design. Over the years, she has amassed rare treasures from dealers, auction houses and antique experts around the world. These include iconic designs such as Pierre Jeannerets Chandigarh dining chair, Andre Arbus 30s cabinets, Jacques Adnets leather armchairs and Charlotte Perriands coffee table. Each piece has its own history and fits perfectly with the overall atmosphere of the space.

In the formal dining room, Freund combines ideas from Hand -amp; Locks embroidered fabrics and a ceiling mural by Robert Cooper connect the threads of vintage and modern design. In the formal reception area, Jacques Adnets armchairs and Charlotte Perriands coffee table embody the simple elegance of mid-20th century design, while Joe Armitages light installation adds an avant-garde touch.

Freund is inspired by collectibles, but also incorporates music, emotions and memories. The color palette she chose for the house was inspired by Nat King Coles classic song Autumn Leaves and filled with warm fall tones. Coats bespoke colours - such as Roman Earth, rich brown and Aegean olive green - echo the history of the space while creating an atmosphere of grounding and belonging.

The townhouse speakeasy is one of the homes most distinctive Spaces. Featuring vintage chequered floors, fabric paneled walls, select leather armchairs and a curated vinyl record collection, the room is both intimate and vibrant. The secret entrance to the bar is cleverly hidden by a large painting, adding to the sense of mystery and ceremony.

Freund also uses the stairwell as a gallery space to display a variety of artworks, including tactile wood carvings by Antrea Tzourovits. Each room is masterfully curated as a kind of stage set, offering a variety of experiences for the residents, from the formal reception area to the intimate family dining area to the luxurious master bedroom and study, all of which reflect the unique tastes of the collector.
