Northern Lights by Cadence -amp; Co, designed and built, is a surf studio located on the steep terrain of Sydneys Palm Beach. Cleverly integrated into complex site conditions, it becomes a hideaway for simple living while capturing priceless waterfront views.

The once overgrown jungle, by Cadence -amp; The transformation of Co has undergone amazing changes. The studio is uniquely camouflaged on the street, cleverly acting as a roof under the driveway, with the passageway discreet along the side passageway. The concrete roof curves to mimic the waves, echoing its location.

内部规划为多功能室，向流通开放，通过户外阳台提供空间。落地推拉门让海岸景观自然映入，朝北平面图带来充足自然光并最大程度展现棕榈滩美景。工作室深度增加，高架天花板随建筑屋顶弯曲，捕捉自然光和景观。雪松百叶窗与乔木植被相映成趣，实现隐私。建造使用混凝土和木材等原始天然材料，硬木和铜质装饰将优雅老化融入自然环境，室内同样采用自然调色板，为欣赏美景提供完美背景。

The interior is planned as a multi-purpose room, open to circulation, providing space through outdoor balconies. The floor-to-ceiling sliding doors allow for natural coastal views, and the north-facing floor plan brings in plenty of natural light and maximizes the beauty of Palm Beach. Studio depth increases, and elevated ceilings curve with the buildings roof to capture natural light and views. Cedar shutters complement the arboreal vegetation for privacy. Built using raw, natural materials such as concrete and wood, hardwood and copper finishes blend elegant aging into the natural environment, and the interior is similarly decorated with a natural color palette, providing the perfect backdrop for admiring the views.
