Rob Mills made clever use of local natural materials such as wood and stone to make the house seem to grow naturally from the hillside, rather than being imposed on the landscape. Through the large area of floor-to-ceiling Windows, the interior is full of light, and residents can enjoy the magnificent view over the treetops at any time, as if bringing the natural beauty of the outside world into the home. This design not only allows the house to integrate with nature, but also provides an immersive living experience for the occupants.
