Electric Bowery is an interior design studio based in California, USA, founded in 2013. They work with different owners, entrepreneurs and creative people, good at accepting customers reasonable opinions, suggestions and meet their objective needs, in the process of continuous learning and practice, so that they better understand and understand how people around the world have experienced changes in the way of life.

为自己和家人所设计的一座庄园式度假别墅，并给建筑所处的场地注入了新的活力。别墅由一系列的建筑体块和花园组成，通过独特的方式进行升级与改造，现在成为了一个可容纳大家庭和友人定期聚会的场所，为他们塑造了一处优美的环境和带来舒适的度假体验。

The project is a manor house designed by Cayley Lambur, principal of Electric Bowery, for himself and his family and breathes new life into the site. Consisting of a series of building blocks and gardens, the villa has been upgraded and transformed in a unique way and is now a place for extended family and friends to gather regularly, creating a beautiful environment and a comfortable holiday experience.

对现有主体的翻新工作主要是针对内部空间进行深思熟虑的重新配置，其中包括定制的厨房。原有厨房面积较为狭小，新的厨房需要最大限度地扩大工作台面，以满足家庭日常生活的需要，同时能够欣赏到花园和海洋景观，并尽可能地减少外部干扰。

Renovation work on the existing main body focused on a thoughtful reconfiguration of the interior Spaces, which included a bespoke kitchen. While the original kitchen was relatively small, the new kitchen needed to maximize the work surface to meet the needs of the familys daily life, while being able to enjoy the garden and ocean views, and minimize external interference.

主体结构经过修复和更新之后，与户外相连。温暖而朴实的色调贯穿于空间之中，设计师采用当地的有机材料，精选的家具和具有质感的细节赋予了住宅一种高雅的气质和营造别具一格的氛围。分层的纹理和自然材料，以及新与旧的融合，使空间变得更有质感和故事性。

After the restoration and renewal of the main structure, it is connected to the outdoors. Warm and earthy colours permeate the Spaces, local organic materials, selected furniture and textured details give the house an elegant quality and a unique atmosphere. Layered textures and natural materials, as well as the fusion of old and new, make the space more textured and storied.

A custom curved velvet sofa occupies the center of the interior space, designed to respond to the natural form of the local canyon, and is paired with a custom-designed oversized Claro walnut coffee table. A select collection of antiques is scattered throughout the house, all beautiful, all around the main fireplace, wood crackling, life is silent.
