The Renaissance Revival Town Villa, located in the center of New York, hides the peaceful and spacious internal space designed by Chango & CO.

在他们的第一个联排别墅项目中，总部位于布鲁克林的设计工作室Chango＆Co与室内设计师Katja Greeff一起创建了一个多维房屋，可散发出相等的温暖和凉爽的部分。上西区的联排别墅具有与曼哈顿周围环境相反的平静感，在经典的极简主义和现代生活之间行走，以容纳一个年轻的家庭。
In their first townhouse project, Brooklyn-based design studio Chango & Co, together with interior designer Katja Greeff, have created a multi-dimensional home that radiates equal parts warm and cool. The Upper West Townhouse carries a sense of calm contrary to its Manhattan surroundings, walking the line between classic minimalism and modern living to accommodate a young family.

房屋坚固的红砖外观保持了联排别墅与纽约市悠久历史的联系，而Chango＆Co决定恢复联排别墅的标志性弯腰，该标志性的弯腰在1970年代被删除。
The strong red brick in the house maintains the long history of row villas and the long history of New York City, and Chango & CO decided to restore the iconic bending of the town villas. The iconic bend was deleted in the 1970s.

Internally, the size of the three levels is different, from personal to sharing to entertainment. Designed for young families, each space depends on the needs of internal growth, relaxation and entertainment.

苏珊娜（Susana）设计了厨房空间，以与周围的家具融合在一起，告知手工制作的Zellige瓷砖和配置橱柜。光滑的Calacatta金石笼罩着两个独立的独立式长凳，以最大程度地利用烹饪和娱乐空间。相邻的用餐空间具有钢架窗户，可打开露天的早餐区。在下面，休闲空间将休闲休息室与令人印象深刻的户外露台联系起来。
Susana designed the kitchen space to blend with the surrounding furniture, informing the handmade Zellige tiles and profile cabinetry. Smooth Calacatta gold stone envelops two separate freestanding bench tops to maximise the cooking and entertaining space. The adjacent dining space features a steel frame window that opens onto an alfresco breakfast area. Below, a recreational space connects a casual lounge with the impressive outdoor patio.

Each floor is connected by a slender stairwell, and the staircase of the building filters from the natural light from the top skylight. "In order to make the lines of this stairs perfect, we do a lot of work, but said it is easy."

From The Top A sense of calm is enhanced by a creamy, textural palette that underpins each level.

In the master bedroom, eyes are drawn to the custom-made bed, where a boucle headboard stretches into a cosy window bench seat. The primary bathroom makes use of its grand size, with a freestanding bath and two vanities.

An Illuminated Interior To align with conventions of warmth and comfort, the Upper West Townhouse features a unique and extensive lighting collection. Modern and antique pieces emit a deliberately soothing light, as seen in the bathrooms, where each mirror is flanked by delicate sconces from the likes of Apparatus Studio, In Common With and Kelly Wearstler. At the same time, striking pendants anchor each space.

Chango＆Co利用负空间和自然光来创造一个带有微妙惊喜的舒缓环境。上西区的联排别墅是一个宁静的房屋，吸引了家庭生活，考虑到居民在未来几年中如何发展。
Chango & Co utilise negative space and natural light to create a soothing environment with subtle surprises. The Upper West Townhouse is a tranquil home that appeals to family living, with consideration for how the occupants may evolve in years to come.
