The latest hotel in Derian covers the renovation of reception and lobby, double floor underground coffee bar, roof restaurant, restaurant and bedroom. The design is committed to providing guests with local flavor, and its optimistic and personalized spirit makes the hotel look new. The interior design is inspired by art and literature, including the traditional orange and lemon - because the hotel is close to the church, which is also a feature of historical rhymes. The hotel depicts the wonderful pictures of cities in the 16th and 17th centuries. Its influence can be explained as that the church design has many different elements from lighting to materiality. Art and personal expression collide with the vitality of East London and become the key direction of design.

The basic palette shows contemporary fun and adds dynamic to the space. Ceramic fish devices are hung on the ceiling to swim in the room. Polished copper walls and rafts bounce in the light and hang striking large cane chandeliers. Above the central island bar, a mirrored raft and oversized earth lamps are placed in a copper bar structure. On the right side of the bar is the space for snack service, with high table, glass snack display cabinet and close to the open kitchen. There is a natural lighting area, banquet table and group table on the left side of the bar for you to enjoy. The bar is surrounded by stools and you can enjoy the imaginative cocktails made by the bar team.

After entering the hotel, guests will have an interesting experience. The reception desk and lobby are equipped with reflective finishes. Behind the reception, the round neon art works are reflected from the bronze mirror. Large gold-plated glass panels occupy the center of the stage, depicting a rising copper sun. Continue this playful metaphor, retain the original strong pattern floor of the hotel, and juxtapose it with the concrete table and reflective surface to create a strong sense of space. Tactile fabric, leather and soft linen window decoration, coupled with graphical hand tufted carpet, soften the hall space, and introduce warm and fresh sage gray and dark blue, which complement the freshness of white linen tulle.

Coffee bar and roof space to ensure that the area functions throughout the day as a meeting, work and eating space, thus transforming it into a charming evening place at night. Each public space is connected, but there is also a unique narrative that always draws on the rich history of East London. The reception hall passes through the first floor to the coffee bar. Chandelier accessories are designed as a contemporary interpretation of Londons local street lamps. The double high coffee bar on the first floor shows the new concept, providing coffee during the day and professional cocktails specially customized for the hotel at night. The curved rod is converted into eyes through light, which changes the atmosphere of the room all day. All kinds of large-scale planting increase the natural touch.

The guest room takes the brand-new white brick wall as the headboard wall frame, reflecting luxury and dramatic aesthetics. The carpet is inspired by the canvas painting strokes floating under the bed, while the guest dining table area adopts exciting colors and is updated with contemporary style. The white pendant sphere on the dining table connects the bedroom with the concept throughout the hotel. The choice of art itself attracts local influence and inspiration and humorous appreciation.

The black canopy is softened with colorful striped fabric, and the oversized cane pendant and cane furniture express a language of relaxed life. Biological affinity affects the whole space, and planting occupies the central stage. The outdoor courtyard is designed to feel like a Spanish haven in central London. Striking red walls and hanging plants are located under the retractable glass roof, antique tan leather, and cyan and rose fabrics that activate the furniture.

The challenge of the project is to develop a unique space design to adapt to the new restaurant food concept and to fit the two historic halls. The well decorated custom interior design, including lighting objects, furniture and a new space connection between the two halls, provides a smooth circulation for gourmet purposes. These items were developed from the existing historical architectural elements of the two halls and reinterpreted in a modern way.

This transformation is combined with the concept of transparency to create a harmonious indoor space, and the combination of the old and the new creates other things. The concept of sustainability is brought to life with the use of local natural building materials, which is closely related to the concept of food in restaurants.

由于大厅里也没有著名的时钟，我们想把吊灯的设计与时间的流动结合起来。其概念是在一家几乎24小时营业的餐厅中创建不同的日光设置，以代表一天中的不同时间。餐厅精心策划的厨房也体现与自然的联系和时间的自然流动。

Since there is no famous clock in the hall, we want to combine the design of chandelier with the flow of time. The concept is to create different daylight settings in a restaurant that is open almost 24 hours to represent different times of the day. The carefully planned kitchen of the restaurant also reflects the connection with nature and the natural flow of time.

这两盏灯以其抽象的形式语言，简朴的新巴洛克风格大厅相得益彰。吊灯旋转略微不对称，在大厅中循环时，吊灯在透视图中显示为有趣的空间元素。织物表面对来自上方的入射光和阴影产生反应，因此即使在阳光下，它们也与大厅相结合。吊灯尺寸、形状和功能完全由手工制作。最大的挑战是找到合适产品LED像素完美数量和网格，在每个设置下实现均匀照明。

The two lamps complement each other with their abstract formal language and simple new Baroque hall. The chandelier rotates slightly asymmetrically, and when circulating in the hall, the chandelier is shown as an interesting spatial element in the perspective view. The fabric surface reacts to incoming light and shadows from above, so they are combined with the hall even in the sun.

The size, shape and function of the chandelier are completely hand-made. The biggest challenge is to find the right product, the perfect number of LED pixels and grid, and achieve uniform lighting under each setting.
