与「行山」的际遇,不仅仅是一次偶然的商业行为。 早在几年前,在我的一次小型分享会上,认识了委托人之一的小危。小危也是一名设计师,主攻软装。基于作为设计师之间对于彼此设计理念的认同感,我们经常会对一些设计认识与想法展开或深或浅的交流。在交流的过程中,也曾产生过如果有合适的项目可以一起尝试的念头。只是没想到,第一次的合作,便是她自己参与投资和策划的民宿 —— 大理行山。
The encounter with Xingshan inn is not just a pure business activity. As early as a few years ago, at a small sharing meeting of mine, I met Wei, one of my clients.Wei is also a designer, focusing on soft outfits. Based on the sense of identity as designers with the design concept, we often exchange some ideas and cognition about design. In the process of communication, I accidentally mentioned that , we should try it together if there is a suitable project. But I didnt expect that the first cooperation would be Dali Xingshan inn, a home-stay she participated in investment and planning.
再 - 见 Again-meet 再见,已是大理。 行山隐溪紧邻大理潘溪码头。与洱海之间只相隔一条环海自行车道,几乎可以说是零距离感受洱海的绝佳地理位置。但问题也在于此,因大理环湖整治的原因,大量的环湖临海建筑都遭到了不同程度的拆除,「行山」的原建筑也是如此,因此使得被拆分切割后的原建筑变得极为复杂,只剩下两栋突兀的房子,当初的院落只能凭着残缺的痕迹从中找到一点点依稀的形态。于是,如何在满足政策的前提下尽可能的利用海景条件,再一次营造出小院的空间氛围,是我们这次空间设计中最为重要的一个组成部分。 See it again, in Dali. Xingshan inn is adjacent to Dali Panxi Wharf. There is only a bicycle path around the sea from Erhai Lake, which is almost an excellent geographical location along the sea. But the problem is this -- a large number of sequences of coastal building suffered varying degrees of pulled down due to the renovation of Erhai Lake.The original building of Xingshan inn was not spared. The original buildings to be split after cutting is very complex, only two abrupt house, the original architectural form no longer exists, and the few remaining buildings can vaguely predict the original courtyard form. Therefore, it is the most important component of our space design that how to make the best use of the sea view conditions under the premise of meeting the policy and create the space atmosphere of small courtyard again.
设计开始逐步展开。 但这一次,我们并没有在一开始就沿着精明的商业逻辑与缜密的建筑逻辑去开启这段设计之旅。而是通过更为感性的倾听,去叩问,去感知。让这个已残缺的土地上发出自己的回响,然后从回响中找到设计的依据,找到共情的方向。 首先,是在原有的建筑与地理环境上找依据。遵循大理民居的建筑基础,保留白墙青瓦的地域特色,这是政策上的明确规定,也是牢牢扎根在这方土地之上的关键。因此,作为设计师,我们需要退后。 The design began to unfold gradually. But this time, we did not start this design journey through meticulous business and architectural logic as before. But through more perceptual listening, to get some sound. Ask and perceive. Let this broken land echo, and then find the basis of design from the echo, find the direction of empathy. First of all, find the basis in the original building and geographical environment .The building needs to be shaped again. But reshaping is not without framework. The voice of the policy tells us that the buildings around the lake must be adjusted and reconstructed on the basis of the buildings that follow the Dali residential buildings, and retain iconic elements such as White walls and Grey tiles. Therefore, the reconstruction of buildings cannot be expressed as an architects way of thinking. So, we respect the customs of Dali, and we understand the policy orientation. As designers, we need to step back.
其次,我们需要理解主理人的想法。作为较早进入大理民宿行业的他们,对于业态的需求、客人的偏好、以及投入成本的控制,都有着自己的切身理解。好设计是什么?在这里,可能并没有标准的答案。而我们要知道的便是,如何在可控的成本投入以内,满足其经营需求的同时,做出差异化、度假感的空间设计。所以,我们也需要退后。 最后,面对大理,面对洱海,面对这样一个小院。我们还需懂得揣摩使用者的声音。 于是,我们以一个游客的角度去思考,如果我们来到大理,我们想要获得什么?需要看到什么?又希望体验到什么样的状态?最后,我们发现,我们常规认知意义上的设计,并不那么重要。重要的是,这里是大理,开窗望洱海。因此,我们再度退后。 设计,将会被融化在空间里,融化在场景里。让惬意降临。
Second, we need to listen to the voice of the manager. As those who entered the Dali home-stay industry earlier, they have their own personal understanding of business needs, guest preferences, and control of input costs. What is good design? Here, there may not be a standard answer. What we need to know is how to make a differentiated and holiday-like space design while satisfying its business needs within a controllable cost investment. Therefore, we also need to step back. Finally, facing Dali, facing Erhai Lake, facing such a small courtyard. We also need to listen to the voice of the user. So, we think from the perspective of a tourist, if we come to Dali, what do we want to get? What do I need to see? What kind of state do you want to experience? Finally, we found that the design we routinely recognize is actually not that important. The important thing is that this is Dali, open the window to look at Erhai Lake. Therefore, we stepped back again. The design will be melted into the space, into the scene, and make more comfortable.
项目落成,已是五月。五月的大理,开始进入雨季。少了一份热烈的阳光,却多了一份飘荡在山海之间的恬静。更适合沉迷在生活的日常里,不问烦心。 而行山-隐溪便是适合于这样心境的小院。等待着与你遇见。 少许木质点缀的外墙,舒适惬意的茶室、通透精致的庭院,以及开窗见海的客房,构成了如今的行山。设计的退后,可能削弱了「行山」在第一眼看见时的惊艳,但却让人感受到这是一个可以靠近、可以依存、可以一起感受呼吸的地方,她的恰到好处与洱海相融,与大理相融,也与住客相融。 因为,我并不想让设计打扰了这份恬静。
By the time the project was completed, it was already May. The rainy season begins in Dali in May. There is no bright sunshine, but there is more tranquility between the mountains and seas, which is more suitable for indulging in the trouble-free daily life. Xingshan inn is a small courtyard suitable for such a state of mind. Waiting to meet you. The exterior walls decorated with a little wood, the cozy tea room, the transparent and exquisite courtyard, and the lake view guest rooms make up the xingshan inn. Backwardness of the design may prevent Xingshan inn from becoming an amazing beauty at first sight, but it makes you feel like its a place to be close, to be dependent, to feel breathing together. It allows her to be right here, blends with Erhai Lake, with Dali, and with users. Because I dont want the design to disturb this tranquility. 插画
