Description by Brett Mickan: The challenge was to make a building that is a contemporary architectural statement feel high-end and luxurious, while at the same time a relaxed, casual, beach inspired family home.

Custom joinery was included to allow the inevitable family clutter to be hidden away. The end result is a family home that is as much barefoot casual as boutique hotel.
