Located in the centre of Bucharest, Lafayette Hotel Boutique is a transposition over time of the old identity of the Romanian capital known symbolically, for almost two centuries, as the “Little Paris”. Given the owner’s desire to keep the specific identity of the old part of the town, Natalia Berezovskaia, Octavian Roman and Alexandru Prodan architects from Creativ Interior Studio appealed to the comfortable Provence style to confer elegance to the hotel, scent and good taste specific to the early twentieth century. It is a Hotel Boutique with only 7 rooms, one of which is a room-apartment and occupies most of the last floor.

The rooms are divided by colours: rooms 1 and 4 are in colours of blue, 2 and 5 in colours of beige, rooms 3, 6 and 7 in colours of green. The furnishings, decorative objects and furniture are representative for the chosen style. The walls are treated in pastel colours of blue, beige, green and lilac and also there are used decorative plaster and wallpaper with floral motifs. The emphasis has been placed on upholstery and draperies that have the same shades as the ambiance. The antique furniture is made of solid wood by domestic manufacturers in harmony with this, the decorations complete the integrity of the Provence style: vintage chandeliers in white colour; framed faceted mirrors, paintings of flowers and fruit, candlesticks, floral motif bedspreads and pillows, clocks, vases with flowers and other accessories. Each of these elements have mattered in the final arrangement to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for the visitors of Bucharest that will cross the threshold of the Lafayette Hotel Boutique.
