为了“描绘法国各地区的地理多样性、独特的农业产品和烹饪传统”，这座轻巧的展馆由一个由法国云杉和落叶松制成的、相互连锁、可重复使用的弯曲格鲁兰梁和柱子组成，让人想起法国风景中的丘陵和山谷。该展馆的低能耗得益于自然冷却和空气循环系统，而一系列不同大小的拱形入口处将游客引向了洞穴空间。
