纽约、伦敦和布达佩斯的站长们为我们的旅行干杯

这是一个异乎寻常的项目，有三个主要原因：一是合作构思；一种共同的建筑语言具有凝聚力；以及完全缺乏广告思考。

15年后，€8.43亿欧元(约合843亿元人民币)正在建造中，德国国防军(Wehrhahn)的地铁把建筑师、艺术家和工程师聚集在一起，在市中心下面建造了6个新的车站，连接着城市的东西。

当然，艺术和建筑、设计和工程的结合并不是什么新鲜事，但是柏林艺术家Heike Klussmann和基于达姆施塔特的建筑实践NETZWEKKYTEKEN接近这样的合作的方式简直就是创新。通常，建筑部分首先发生，然后艺术家被委托。在这里，建筑师、艺术家和工程师从一开始就共同努力。

克鲁斯曼和NetzwekArchekten将U-Bahn隧道设想为“一个地下连续体，就像一条巨大的蛇在地球上滑行，在各自的观测站加宽，然后继续前行”。给这种“连续体”在地下的物理存在是一个具体的皮肤，蚀刻在所有或部分的大厅墙壁，与膨胀和收缩的菱形形状，创造了一种独特的‘空间活力感’。

把车站与上述城市环境联系起来是另一件事，其中一件事是由五位不同的艺术家处理的-拉尔夫·布罗格、乌苏拉·达姆、曼努埃尔·弗兰克、安·海纳·海纳和托马斯·斯特雷克，加上克鲁斯曼-每个人都负责不同电台的艺术指导。

这些车站都没有地面上的售票设施。相反，他们是在大街上的“切口”，通过楼梯进入广阔的空间。“在站台和汇合层之间的一般视线，清晰，容易定位，并允许尽可能多的自然光深入车站是中心指导方针，”解释说。

拉尔夫·勃罗格的海因里希-海因-阿尔雷站主办了一个不断变化的基于噪音和声音的工程项目，而充满活力的LED屏幕则反映了Ursula Damm的Schadowstra e站乘客的移动情况。屏幕在托马斯·斯蒂克的不锈钢包覆的贝纳斯特拉e站上呈星系间倾斜，显示了行星和恒星的3D动画。

在Pempelforter Stra e，海克·克鲁斯曼通过巧妙的几何图形交互作用模糊了车站的边界，而安·海纳则通过抽象和清晰的游戏给她在基什普拉兹车站的诗歌带来了雕塑形式。在丰富多彩的色彩，曼努埃尔·弗兰克的格拉夫-阿道夫-普拉兹特色的微妙的排队，把乘客从街道和进入站台。

U-Bahn的影响是多方面的，对于城市和像这样的工程壮举可以通过艺术目的来解决，但对于那些把它作为交通工具的个人来说也是如此。除了让他们从东到西，它让上班族从消费主义中得到难得的休息。艺术和工程之间的关系是最无可争议的，尽管并不显眼。不可能知道一个从哪里开始，另一个结束，但突然之间，它似乎是一个区别，不需要解释。
