台北被指定为2016年世界设计之都可能很快就要结束了,但真正的工作才刚刚开始。围绕“适应城市-动态设计”的主题启动了多个项目,推动台北的创意人才登上国际舞台。
现在,利用台湾首都作为设计之都的势头,希望通过新兴的创意阶层,引发一场改造城市,改善社会、文化、经济生活的运动。上个月在松山文化创意园举办的“国际设计之家”系列展览达到了顶峰,展示了国际设计之家的努力成果。
“四季”玻璃器皿,由吴炳立为JIA制作
在这次展览中,阿瓜洲策划的“台北Issuuue”汇集了国际思想家和当地创意人员,帮助规划了台北市未来发展的蓝图。在改善公共空间方面加大了努力:“(再)创造台北”由城市酵母和西班牙集体Basurama Asociación提供了鼓舞人心的想法,重新设计和重新利用城市中被遗忘的公共空间;而“小商店招牌制造商”项目将设计师和当地店主聚集在一起,创造标志,以改善城市街道的美观。
由于岛上资源匮乏,可持续性也是该市的一个高度优先事项:雷纳托实验室(Renato Lab)与台湾最大的电子废物回收公司之一合作,从回收电路板和CRT显示器玻璃中制造出“电路”墙砖;以及nb.STUDIO设计了一个带有可回收液晶显示器的装饰性壁灯。
台湾最著名的可能是它的技术制造能力,但近年来,本土工艺品-陶瓷、木材、玻璃、纺织品、金属、纸、皮革和岩石-在设计中发挥了重要作用,新一代设计师通过用现代设计语言重新诠释旧产业的精神,找到了利用台湾制造能力的新方法。在“国际设计之家”(International Design House)旗下的另一场展览“台湾设计的力量-突破”中,台湾设计与制造的各个方面都是通过一组精心挑选的产品来介绍的。

传统以新颖的方式被重新发明-家器品牌JIA的“四季”玻璃套装,由吴炳立(Pili Wu)设计,将四季描绘成餐桌上的中国水墨画;著名的“明”椅由台湾建筑师兼设计师陆世杰(Shi-Chieh Lu)赋予了新的生命;而设计机构五金店(Five Mete Shop)则与长华一家传统家族经营的锌合金铸造厂合作,从无到有地创建了一个国际设计品牌-编号30。日本搪瓷制造商高句丽(Shoei Kogyo)和台湾设计师天平(Balance Wu)制作了“丘比特”(Cuppot),作为“日本制造的台湾x设计”的一部分,该产品将台湾的创意与日本的专业知识结合起来,以期为该行业在远东的未来奠定坚实的基础。
还有另一个展览,“视觉台北”,展出了60多位著名的本地和国际视觉艺术家的300多件作品,这是一场以“台北生活”为主题的不同文化间的直接对话。他们中的15人被指派在赫尔曼·米勒的“Eames模塑塑料副椅”上制作插图,以展示视觉设计的多功能性。策展人蔡佩奇(PageTsou)希望能发现台北以前为公众所不了解的方面,并最终将台湾列入世界创造力地图。

REnato Lab was founded by experts from the fields of industrial design, environmental engineering and recycling to address the problems of excessive consumption and waste. '(RE)Create Taipei' by City Yeast and Spanish collective Basurama Asociación provides innovative and inspiring ideas to redesign and repurpose forgotten public spaces in the city. They include playgrounds created from recycled lamp posts and water tanks
The 'Small Shop Signboard Manufacturer' project brings together designers and local shop owners to create signage to improve the city’s streets
Participating businesses range from coffee shops, grocery stores and supermarkets to everyday street vendors and restaurants
