10区是一个多家庭住宅项目,致力于重新设想和重新发明市场驱动的共管公寓。该发展商位于前一间加油站的地盘,希望在12个月内设计及建造一幢价格适中的楼宇。由此产生的三层10单元的共管公寓是以一个“白盒”概念为模型的:每个买家购买一个基本的管道、供暖和电力系统的未完成的单元。然后,买家可以决定他们想要在每一层的房间,并完成他们自己的口味和预算。
所有的单位上升超过三层,大多数有两个阳台。随着公寓的提升,它们从建筑的一边穿过到另一边,形成了十种独特的联锁布局。这种安排可向北和南提供意见,其中8套公寓有三个方向的意见。为了利用开发的最大允许质量,悬臂式投影扩展房间,创建阳台和提供支持的垂直木板的屏幕,包裹着建筑物的外部。
屏幕为每个房主提供隐私和阴影,过滤周围的视图,并创建一个缓冲交通噪音。屏幕的纯粹的纹理统一了外观,给了布洛克10一个独特的身份在附近。
