Summit House坐落于美国洛杉矶历史悠久的林肯高地社区，地处山丘与台地之上，毗邻阿罗约塞科与洛杉矶河，承载着当地早期拓荒家族的建造文脉与地域记忆。该住宅始建于1907年，秉持工艺美术风格营建，历经多次改造，由设计师帕特里克·贝尔纳茨（Patrick Bernatz）主持更新，于2020年完成，建筑面积1933平方英尺，以当代视角转译本土建筑遗产，让百年老宅适配现代生活场景。

Summit House is located in the historic Lincoln Heights community of Los Angeles, on a hilltop and terrace, adjacent to Arroyo Seco and the Los Angeles River. It carries the construction heritage and regional memory of the local early pioneer families. The house was built in 1907 and was constructed in the Arts and Crafts style. It has undergone multiple renovations and was updated by designer Patrick Bernatz in 2020. With a total floor area of 1,933 square feet, it translates the local architectural heritage from a contemporary perspective, making the century-old house suitable for modern living scenarios.

空间改造以在地材料与精细构造为核心，兼顾历史肌理与实用需求。厨房采用彩绘凹槽墙板、黑胡桃台面与本地烧制黑色陶土砖，搭配设计师定制卡座与复古铜质灯笼，质感温润且层次分明。公共区域动线流畅，材质衔接自然，橡木地板、石灰灰泥、红桉木细木作等本土材料贯穿始终，形成统一而富有温度的视觉语言。

The space renovation focuses on using local materials and meticulous construction, while also taking into account the historical texture and practical needs. The kitchen features painted recessed wall panels, black walnut countertops, and locally fired black clay bricks. It is complemented by custom-designed benches and retro copper lamps, creating a warm and distinct texture. The public area has a smooth flow of movement, with natural material transitions. Local materials such as oak flooring, lime plaster, and red eucalyptus wood joinery are used throughout, forming a unified and warm visual language.

客厅以中性底色为基调，深绿色调百叶窗界定界面，专属定制的油面红桉木嵌入式沙发成为空间重心。相邻办公区延续同款百叶窗，强化空间关联；墨西哥复古书桌、林赛·阿德尔曼（Lindsay Adelman）铜质台灯、再利用的格雷塔·格罗斯曼（Greta Grossman）座椅依次排布，向西可俯瞰洛杉矶市中心天际线，人文器物与城市景观相互映衬。

The living room is based on a neutral color scheme. Dark green shutters define the boundaries, and a specially customized oil-surfaced red eucalyptus wood built-in sofa serves as the focal point of the space. The adjacent office area continues to use the same type of shutters, strengthening the spatial connection. A Mexican vintage desk, a Lindsay Adelman copper lamp, and a reused Greta Grossman chair are arranged in sequence, offering a view of the Los Angeles city skyline to the west. The humanistic objects and the urban landscape complement each other.

卧室采用石灰水洗涂饰的拱顶墙面与顶面，肌理柔和透气，搭配定制红木床头与家具，营造静谧休憩氛围。早餐区拱门内侧设有Expormim藤编座椅、设计师定制白蜡木环抱式长凳与橡木餐桌，上方悬挂1920年代做旧铜质吊灯，复古器物与现代定制家具相融，让历史文脉在日常起居中自然延续，呈现兼具时间厚度与当代舒适度的居住体验。

The bedroom features a ceiling and top surface coated with lime wash, with a soft and breathable texture. It is complemented by a custom-made redwood headboard and furniture, creating a serene resting atmosphere. In the breakfast area, inside the archway, there are Expormim woven chairs, a designer custom-made white waxwood embrace-style bench, and an oak dining table. Above, there is a 1920s aged copper pendant light. The combination of vintage objects and modern custom furniture integrates the historical elements into daily life, allowing the historical context to naturally continue in daily living, presenting a living experience that combines the depth of time with contemporary comfort.
