Outpost Estates坐落于洛杉矶好莱坞山历史住宅区，由Two Muse Studios设计团队主导打造，以一栋1938年建成的独立住宅为基底，开展整体空间更新与室内改造。设计团队延续原有建筑格局，对约390平方米的居住空间进行系统化梳理与重组，让这座历史住宅在当代生活语境中，呈现出更清晰的空间逻辑与使用秩序。

Outpost Estates is located in the Hollywood Hills historic residential area of Los Angeles. It was designed by the Two Muse Studios design team and is based on a 1938 independent house. The design team carried out an overall space renovation and interior transformation. They maintained the original architectural layout and systematically organized and restructured the approximately 390-square-meter living space, enabling this historical house to present a clearer spatial logic and usage order in the contemporary living context.

设计核心策略围绕“旧好莱坞气质”的当代化诠释展开。设计团队以材质与细节的层次化呈现，将历史语境中的浪漫氛围，转化为适配当代审美与生活的空间语言。客厅以大理石壁炉为空间核心，有序组织餐厅与公共活动区域，构建出开放且连贯的空间序列，在保证形式精致度的同时，也充分兼顾日常居住的舒适体验。

The core design strategy revolves around the contemporary interpretation of the "old Hollywood style". The design team presents the design with a layered approach of materials and details, transforming the romantic atmosphere from the historical context into a spatial language that suits contemporary aesthetics and lifestyle. The living room features a marble fireplace as the core of the space, orderly organizing the dining area and public activity zones, creating an open and coherent spatial sequence. While maintaining the exquisite form, it also fully considers the comfort of daily living.

从室内构成来看，项目在家具与陈设层面采用清晰的策展式设计思路。Two Muse Studios通过定制家具、复古单品与当代设计器物的组合搭配，赋予空间居住与展示双重属性。不同来源的软装与陈设，在统一的色彩体系与材质框架下形成呼应关联，既贴合居住者的个性化生活需求，也完善了空间的整体设计表达。

From the perspective of interior composition, the project adopts a clear curatorial design concept in terms of furniture and furnishings. Two Muse Studios combines custom-made furniture, vintage items, and contemporary decorative objects to give the space dual attributes of residence and display. Soft furnishings and decorations from various sources, within a unified color system and material framework, form a corresponding connection. This not only meets the individualized living needs of the occupants but also enhances the overall design expression of the space.

面向室外的空间处理，有效拓展了住宅的居住边界。设计借助法式门、观景露台与庭院系统，打造室内外空间的连续过渡界面。团队将泳池、户外厨房、休闲平台等景观元素与生活功能设施，整合为统一的生活场景，构建出顺应洛杉矶气候与地形特征的开放式生活模式。这种内外渗透的空间组织形式，使住宅在私密性与开放性之间实现平衡，同时完整延续了好莱坞山地住宅的经典居住特质。

The outdoor-oriented space design effectively expands the living boundaries of the residence. By leveraging French-style doors, viewing terraces and courtyard systems, the design creates a continuous transition interface between indoor and outdoor spaces. The team integrated landscape elements such as swimming pools, outdoor kitchens, and leisure platforms with living functional facilities to form a unified living scene, constructing an open living mode that conforms to the climate and topography of Los Angeles. This internal and external permeable spatial organization form enables the residence to achieve a balance between privacy and openness, while fully preserving the classic living characteristics of Hollywood mountain residences.
