Point Lonsdale House新建住宅位于澳大利亚维多利亚州，由Field Office Architecture事务所精心设计，为一对即将退休的夫妇打造了一个兼具耐久性与低环境影响的居住空间。该住宅在保持外观简约得体的同时，充分融入了自给自足的理念与高能效标准，达到了澳大利亚NatHERS八星节能评级。

Point Lonsdale House, a newly built residence in Victoria, Australia, was meticulously designed by Field Office Architecture for a couple approaching retirement. It offers a living space that is both durable and environmentally friendly. While maintaining a simple and elegant appearance, the house fully incorporates the concept of self-sufficiency and high energy efficiency standards, achieving an eight-star energy rating under Australias NatHERS system.

设计团队在规划过程中着重运用光线、材质与空间比例来营造氛围，而非采用张扬的建筑表现手法，力求打造温暖且具有庇护感的居住体验。事务所创始人Chris Barnes（克里斯·巴恩斯）表示，住宅旨在呈现海岸建筑特有的内敛气质与从容气度，而非简单复刻传统木屋风格。建筑在视觉上既呼应了Bellarine Peninsula地区的历史风貌，又展现出现代空间的通透与开阔。

The design team focused on using light, materials and spatial proportions to create an atmosphere during the planning process, rather than adopting flamboyant architectural expression techniques, aiming to create a warm and sheltered living experience. Chris Barnes, the founder of the firm, stated that the residence is intended to present the reserved and composed character of coastal architecture, rather than simply replicating the traditional wooden house style. Visually, the building not only echoes the historical features of the Bellarine Peninsula region but also showcases the transparency and openness of modern spaces.

材料选择体现了可持续理念，下层采用坚固的砖石以提升热稳定性与蓄热能力，上层则选用木质外墙带来温润质感。木质遮阳板不仅调节日照与保护隐私，也丰富了建筑的立面层次。室内材质温暖而富有质感，使居住空间宁静而充满生活气息。

The material selection embodies the concept of sustainability. The lower layer uses sturdy bricks and stones to enhance thermal stability and heat storage capacity, while the upper layer uses wooden exterior walls to bring a warm and smooth texture. The wooden sunshades not only regulate sunlight and protect privacy, but also enrich the architectural facade hierarchy. The interior materials are warm and textured, creating a peaceful and lively living space.

在功能布局上，住宅兼顾了夫妻二人日常居住的私密性与家庭聚会时的空间需求，生活区域集中设置在一层，便于长期居住及未来使用。被动式节能设计结合高性能围护结构，使住宅尽可能实现能源自给。屋顶配备10kW太阳能板与Tesla Powerwall储能电池，并配套雨水收集与中水回用系统，大幅降低对外部公共设施的依赖。

In terms of functional layout, the residence takes into account both the privacy of the couples daily living and the space requirements for family gatherings. The living areas are centrally located on the first floor, making it convenient for long-term residence and future use. The passive energy-saving design is combined with high-performance enclosure structures, enabling the residence to achieve energy self-sufficiency as much as possible. The roof is equipped with 10kW solar panels and Tesla Powerwall energy storage batteries, along with a rainwater collection and reclaimed water reuse system, significantly reducing reliance on external public facilities.

住宅布局科学合理，与北向采光充分互动，室内明亮温暖且无需频繁供暖。部分空间可根据居住人数灵活开合，既提升能效，又不影响舒适度。整座住宅以经久耐用、易于维护的特性，让居住者安心生活，与周边环境和谐相融。

The layout of the residence is scientifically and reasonably designed, fully interacting with the north-facing natural lighting. The interior is bright and warm, and there is no need for frequent heating. Some spaces can be flexibly opened or closed according to the number of residents, which not only improves energy efficiency but also does not affect comfort. The entire residence features durability and ease of maintenance, allowing the residents to live with peace of mind and blend harmoniously with the surrounding environment.
