蓝湖郡是一栋临湖独栋别墅。视线开阔，建筑与水面之间几乎没有多余遮挡，形成着一种天然的互文关系。建筑在结构上具备少见的条件：车库平三楼，没有地下层，使得每一层空间都能够获得完整而直接的自然采光与通风。

Blue Lake County is a lakeside detached villa.With expansive views across the water, the architecture stands in a direct and unobstructed relationship with the lake, forming a natural dialogue between building and landscape. Structurally, the house benefits from rare inherent advantages: a three-level layout aligned with the garage level, without any basement floors, allowing each level to receive generous natural light and effective cross-ventilation.

这一次的设计，不需要通过复杂手段去“制造通透”，也不必把精力放在”补救条件”上。真正值得被讨论的，是当空间条件已经足够好，设计要如何让这种优势在长期生活中持续成立。

For the design team, this meant there was no need to “create openness” through artificial means, nor to invest energy in compensating for spatial limitations. What truly mattered was a deeper question: when spatial conditions are already optimal, how can design ensure that these advantages remain effective and meaningful over time?

在这个家中，家庭成员对“家”的理解与期待并不相同。设计从一开始便明确，如果以单一风格覆盖所有人，空间或许显得完整，却难以真正回应每个人的生活方式。因此，项目并未追求风格上的统一，而是将差异视为前提，从居住结构出发进行整合：不同楼层分别回应家庭成员各自的生活需求，同时在尺度控制、材料逻辑与整体秩序上保持一致，使多种生活方式并行，而整体依然稳定而清晰。

In this Home, The male homeowner, the female homeowner, and their daughter each hold different expectations of what “home” should be. From the outset, the design team made a clear decision: imposing a single stylistic language across all occupants might result in visual coherence, but it would fail to authentically respond to individual ways of living.Rather than pursuing stylistic uniformity, the project treats difference as a given. The design strategy begins with residential structure: each floor responds to a distinct lifestyle, while maintaining overall consistency in scale, material logic, and spatial order. In this way, multiple modes of living coexist, supported by a stable and coherent whole.

美式乡村的自由

The Freedom of American Country Living

三楼呈现的是女主人对“家”的想象。相较一楼，风格有所不同，但内在取向一致——返璞归真。简洁而清晰的装饰线条、木梁结构与大面积留白共同构成空间的基础状态，材料的真实质感得以完整呈现。空间在现代乡村与折衷主义之间取得平衡，更接近一种松弛而从容的加州生活方式。

The third floor reflects the female homeowner’s vision of home. While its stylistic language differs from that of the first floor, the underlying value remains the same: a return to simplicity.Clean lines, exposed wooden ceilings, beams, brick, and generous areas of white space define the spatial framework. Materials are presented honestly, with their natural textures fully retained. The space blends elements of modern country living and eclecticism, evoking a relaxed, Californian lifestyle.

开阔的空间中，天然的材料为空间带来未经修饰的自然感，使整体氛围更为安静而从容。原木餐桌与餐椅质感丰富却不显单调，白色棉麻窗纱让阳光在室内自由游走。在这一层，光线本身已经成为了最重要的设计元素。

Within the open and generous space, natural materials bring an unadorned sense of authenticity, lending the overall atmosphere a quiet, unhurried calm. The solid wood dining table and chairs are rich in texture without feeling monotonous, while sheer white cotton-linen curtains allow sunlight to move freely throughout the interior. On this level, light itself has become the most essential design element.

复古的法式韵味

A Vintage French Atmosphere

二楼拥有独立的入户方式，可由花园旋转楼梯直接进入。这一层更接近家庭内部的共享休闲空间，空间布局回溯至欧洲早期室内传统——以明确的视觉中心组织整体结构。

设计在这里减少装饰性介入，而是通过材料本身建立舒适度与安全感。老木材、亚麻与藤编的使用，带来温和的触感与复古的空间情绪，也更适合长时间停留。

The second floor has an independent entrance, accessed directly from the garden via a spiral staircase. This level functions as a shared family living space, organized around a clear visual center inspired by early European interior traditions. Decoration is kept to a minimum. Comfort and a sense of ease are shaped instead through materials—aged wood, linen, and rattan—bringing warmth, softness, and an atmosphere suited to long, unhurried use.

书桌成为空间的核心节点，家具、陈列与画作围绕其展开，使空间在秩序之中保持松弛。

西厨餐岛区域以白色与木色为基底，墙顶以简约线条进行雕刻，转角处的复古装饰柜体，将轻柔的法式典雅延伸至空间细部。整体并不复杂，却通过材料、质地与色彩关系，强调陈设的艺术性。

The desk becomes the central anchor of the space, with furniture, objects, and artworks arranged around it, allowing a sense of ease to exist within a clear order. The western kitchen and island are defined by a base of white and natural wood tones, while simple linear detailing shapes the walls and ceiling. At the corner, a vintage cabinet introduces a gentle note of French elegance, extending into the finer details of the interior. The composition remains understated, yet through the interplay of materials, textures, and colors, the artistry of the arrangement is quietly emphasized.

白色格子窗将窗外景色框入室内，室内色彩降至最低，让自然成为最主要的背景。

The design reduces decorative intervention, allowing comfort and a sense of security to be established through the materials themselves. White grid windows frame the outdoor view, while the interior palette is pared back so that nature becomes the primary backdrop.

东方的生活质感

An Eastern Sense of Living

一楼承担公共生活的主要功能，也是整栋住宅的秩序基础。空间以清晰的轴线与对称关系展开，结构稳定，边界明确。木材作为主要材料，并非为了营造情绪，而是因为它在触感、尺度感与时间维度上都更适合被长期使用。男主人对家的期待，是要经得起日常反复使用的稳定状态。

The first floor serves as the core of shared daily life and establishes the spatial order of the entire residence. Organized along clear axes and symmetrical relationships, the layout is stable and well-defined. Wood is used as the primary material not for atmospheric effect, but because its tactile qualities, sense of scale, and ability to age gracefully make it especially suitable for long-term use.For the male homeowner, home is expected to provide a sense of stability that can withstand repeated everyday use.

设计也刻意避免将“东方”处理为符号。传统形式无需复刻，它更需要被放回当代生活中重新使用——在材料、尺度判断与细节耐久度上，完成它当下的表达。

The design deliberately avoids reducing “Eastern aesthetics” to a set of symbols. Traditional forms are neither replicated nor avoided; instead, they are reintroduced into contemporary life through material choices, proportional judgment, and an emphasis on durability—allowing tradition to find relevance in the present.

餐厨空间让相处变得自然。从客厅空间进入餐厨区域，开放式吧台与圆形餐桌形成自然中心。圆桌与吧台的并置，使生活不被严格切割，用餐、停留与交流在此连续发生。”拱形门”作为空间的点睛之笔，既源于古罗马建筑中成熟稳定的结构语言，也在东方园林中反复出现。它让通行更柔和，也为空间转折留出余地。

The kitchen and dining area encourage natural interaction. Moving from the living room, an open bar counter and a round dining table form a natural center. Their coexistence prevents daily life from being rigidly segmented, allowing eating, lingering, and conversation to flow continuously.The arched doorway acts as a subtle spatial accent. Common to both classical Roman architecture and traditional Eastern gardens, it softens circulation and allows transitions between spaces to unfold with ease.

厨房内部根据屋主的烹饪方式提炼法式气质，以奢石、木质与小尺寸拼花砖构建干净而不单薄的层次。当自然光透过格子窗进入室内，材料肌理被照亮，空间秩序也随之自然显现。

Inside the kitchen, French influences are distilled according to the homeowner’s cooking habits. Stone, wood, and small-format patterned tiles create a composition that is clean yet layered. As daylight filters through the gridded windows, material textures are revealed and spatial order becomes quietly evident.

蓝湖郡的设计，更像是在顺着既有条件慢慢展开。建筑本身的优势被认真对待，家庭中不同的生活方式也在空间里各自找到位置。

The design of Blue Lake Residence unfolds gradually in response to the site’s existing conditions. The inherent qualities of the architecture are carefully respected, allowing different ways of family life to find their own place within the space.
