Casa El Espino坐落于墨西哥瓦列德布拉沃的坡地之上，地处丛林与松林交织的自然环境中。建筑以单层水平形态顺势舒展，贴合场地起伏的肌理，以克制的体量与尺度，将远山与湖景纳入视野。项目由索莱尔·奥罗斯科建筑事务所（Soler Orozco Arquitectos）主持设计，联合DIRECCIÓN团队完成室内设计，根据业主对单层谷仓式住宅的需求，以经典几何形态为基础，完成了从概念到落地的整体设计。

Casa El Espino is located on a hillside in Valledupar, Mexico, in a natural environment where the jungle and pine forests blend together. The building unfolds horizontally in a single-story form, conforming to the undulating texture of the site, and with restrained volume and scale, it incorporates the distant mountains and lake views into the view. The project was designed by Soler Orozco Arquitectos, with interior design completed by the DIRECCIÓN team. Based on the owners requirements for a single-story barn-style residence, the overall design from concept to implementation was completed based on classic geometric forms.

场地的自然条件为设计规划提指明了清晰方向，设计团队优化了客房与附属空间的排布，校准建筑整体定位，并融入大型蓄水系统，实现功能布局与场地环境的和谐统一。建筑围绕砾石庭院展开布局，主体住宅与附属用房形成围合界面，场地原生树木被完整保留，强化了空间的在地属性。庭院与泳池区域作为开放核心，实现了室内外空间的视线互通与场景流畅衔接过渡。

The natural conditions of the site provided a clear direction for the design planning. The design team optimized the layout of guest rooms and ancillary spaces, adjusted the overall positioning of the building, and incorporated a large water storage system, achieving a harmonious unity of functional layout and the site environment. The building is arranged around a gravel courtyard. The main residence and ancillary buildings form a closed interface. The original native trees on the site were fully preserved, strengthening the local nature of the space. The courtyard and swimming pool areas serve as the open core, enabling visual communication between indoor and outdoor spaces and smooth transition of scenes.

公共区域采用开放式整体布局，厨房、餐厅与客厅相互连通，形成连贯的生活界面。着色混凝土墙面延续大地色系，喷砂石材地面搭配深色松木吊顶，材质搭配沉稳而富有层次。室内软装融合定制设计与本土元素，复古金属窗框、当地火山石构件与实木家具相互映衬，灯具与细节陈设提升空间质感，营造出质朴温润的居住氛围。

The public areas adopt an open and integrated layout, with the kitchen, dining room and living room interconnected, forming a continuous living interface. The colored concrete walls continue the earthy color scheme, while the sandblasted stone flooring is paired with dark pine ceiling panels. The material combination is stable and rich in layers. The interior soft furnishings integrate custom designs with local elements, with retro metal window frames, local volcanic stone components and solid wood furniture complementing each other. The lighting fixtures and detailed furnishings enhance the spaces texture, creating a simple and warm living atmosphere.

光线随昼夜变化赋予空间丰富的情绪，清晨的山景、日间的庭院光影、傍晚透过天窗的柔光，共同勾勒出住宅的动态氛围。胡安·索莱尔（Juan Soler）与艾伦·奥罗斯科（Alan Orozco）坚持顺应场地、贴近生活的设计思路，让建筑、材料与自然环境共生共存，使这座住宅在岁月中始终保持稳定而富有温度的场所状态。

The light, changing with the day and night, endows the space with rich emotions. The mountain scenery in the morning, the light and shadow of the courtyard during the day, and the soft light through the skylight in the evening, together create the dynamic atmosphere of the residence. Juan Soler and Alan Orozco adhere to the design concept of adapting to the site and being close to life, allowing the architecture, materials, and the natural environment to coexist symbiotically. This has enabled the residence to maintain a stable and warm place state throughout the years.
