In different geographical contexts, design is not a repetition of forms, but rather a continuous dialogue. The four new projects of Huber Design Studio - Four Seasons Tamarindo, Palm Springs Residence, San Lucas Residence and St. Regis Punta Mita - are respectively rooted in coastal, desert and tropical landscapes, unfolding within their unique environments and cultural contexts, offering multiple responses to "space, matter and the relationship between the occupants". The projects do not cover everything with a unified language; instead, they reinterpret local experiences from a contemporary perspective, making the buildings a medium for connecting nature, culture and lifestyle.

在这一过程中，材料不仅关乎触感与构造，更承载着地域与时间的印记；空间也不仅服务于功能，而是通过秩序与节奏塑造感知。在与工匠、艺术家及多方协作者的共同实践中，建筑与手工艺彼此交织，形成克制而富有温度的氛围。这些空间所呈现的，不只是形式上的“完成”，更是一种关于“如何在此生活”的提问，将日常转化为可被感知与记忆的体验。

During this process, the materials not only concern the touch and structure, but also carry the marks of the region and time; the space not only serves the function, but also shapes perception through order and rhythm. Through the joint practice with artisans, artists and various collaborators, architecture and handicrafts interweave with each other, forming a restrained yet warm atmosphere. What these spaces present is not only the "completion" in terms of form, but also a question about "how to live here", transforming daily life into an experience that can be perceived and remembered.

Four Seasons Tamarindo

丛林、海洋、悬崖之间

Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo 坐落于墨西哥哈利斯科州一片占地3000英亩的葱郁丛林之中，是一座依悬崖而建的建筑。项目汇聚了 Víctor Legorreta、Mauricio Rocha、Mario Schjetnan 等精英设计团队，他们共同组建了 LegoRocha 事务所，并与 Uribe Krayer 协作完成这一作品，使其成为多方专业经验交汇的集中呈现。

The Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, Mexico debuted on 3,000 acres of verdant jungle in the state of Jalisco. The cliffside property serves as a showcase for the expertise of an elite design team comprised of Víctor Legorreta, Mauricio Rocha, Mario Schjetnan, who formed the LegoRocha practice for this project, and Uribe Krayer.

Local stone laid by artisans infuses a reference to pre-Hispanic traditions across the contemporary architectural design, echoing natural earth tones and regional color and texture. Cement, lava rock, and wood round out the organic palette while also recalling the surrounding tropical splendor.

室内设计以当地材料与织物为基础，塑造出真实而具体的地域氛围。前西班牙文化元素与殖民时期的遗产相互交织，在空间中形成一种跨越时间的叙事，使整体呈现出沉静而恒久的气质。

The thoughtful interior design showcases local materials and textiles to instill an authentic sense of place. Elements of pre-Hispanic culture and colonial heritage also abound—creating a sense of timelessness.

Palm Springs

从沙漠中生长的住宅

这座住宅隐匿于棕榈泉的沙漠之中，被构想为一处静谧的栖居之所，与地形建立直接而克制的联系。建筑以清水混凝土构筑，呈现出一种坚实而内敛的体量感，与场地中粗粝的岩石肌理自然衔接。其矿物质表面回应着土地的纹理、色泽与密度，使建筑仿佛从地表生长而出，呈现出一种恒久且深植于场地的存在。

Located in the desert landscape of Palm Springs, this residence is conceived as a serene retreat, in direct dialogue with the surrounding terrain. Built in exposed concrete, the architecture establishes a solid and contained presence, blending seamlessly with the rocky formations of the site. Its mineral surfaces reflect the texture, color, and density of the land, lending the house a timeless and deeply rooted character.

在室内，设计通过一系列质朴而富有触感的材料，将这种与环境的联系进一步延展：石灰石、具有自然纹理的原木饰面、经岁月氧化的金属，以及覆以大地色系矿物涂层的平滑墙面，共同构建出一种温润而沉静的感知。赭色、柔灰与铜色的细微变化，随着沙漠光线的流转而不断重组，令空间在时间中呈现出动态的层次。

From within, the design extends this connection to the environment through a palette of sober, tactile materials: limestone, textured natural-finish woods, patinated metal, and smooth walls with mineral-based finishes in earthy tones. The chromatic range —ochres, soft greys, coppery accents— responds to the desert light, shifting the perception of the space throughout the day.

家具的融入克制且自然，在不打破整体宁静氛围的前提下，注入温度与材质的深度。空间中的物件以一种平衡而安静的方式并置：当代设计单品、日常器物与雕塑性元素相互交织。

Furnishings are integrated with natural ease, bringing warmth and material depth without disrupting the calmness of the interior. The selection combines contemporary pieces, utilitarian objects, and sculptural accents in a quiet, balanced language.

San Lucas Residence

将海“引入”空间

这处居所坐落于卡波圣卢卡斯，始于对周遭环境的细致解读，旨在营造宁静、实用且深深植根于当地景观的内部空间。从室内向外望去，空间慷慨地朝向大海敞开，让地平线成为空间体验中不可或缺的一部分。建筑并不只是框定景色，而是让景色融入其中。

Located in Cabo San Lucas, this residence begins with a careful reading of its context to propose interiors that are serene, functional, and deeply rooted in the landscape. From within, the spaces open generously toward the sea, making the horizon an essential part of the spatial experience. The architecture doesn’t frame the view — it lets it in.

石材、天然木材、编织纤维以及风化金属的材料组合，是在回应当地的气候，呈现出温暖而克制的气质。饰面与肌理的选择强调其真实属性，以及随时间优雅变化的可能。家具布置经过精确考量，以平衡与开放的方式界定空间秩序。

The material palette — stone, natural wood, woven fibers, and weathered metals — responds to the local climate with warmth and restraint. Finishes and textures were chosen for their honesty and their ability to age gracefully. Furniture is placed with precision, defining each area with balance and openness.

St Regis Punta Mita

隐于半岛的度假秘境

这片占地22英亩的房产坐落于墨西哥太平洋海岸一处隐秘半岛之上。这里宛如世外桃源般宁静祥和，是至简天堂的宝藏之地，自然与休憩在此交融，既可缔造珍贵回忆，亦能邂逅新知交，有着令人深深沉醉于墨西哥庄园独特风情的魅力。

This 22-acre property is located on a hidden peninsula off the Pacific coast of Mexico. It’s a treasure trove of paradise simplicity, where nature and relaxation merge, a place to make memories, meet new friends and be charmed by the character of a Mexican Hacienda.

项目旨在营造与自然和谐共生之感，通过室内返璞归真的质朴风格，演绎浑然天成的随性意境。开阔的空间格局将自然风光巧妙框景，运用当地色彩、原生建材及手工艺品，勾勒出饱含地域文化底蕴的感性氛围。在这方独特天地里，墨西哥传统手工艺与当代奢华设计碰撞出怀旧情愫——从客房体验到公共空间，处处流淌着独具匠心的场所精神。

Pretending to be in balance with nature and maintaining a style of rustic simplicity in the interiors, creating a feeling of spontaneity, this project offers large open spaces that frame nature, evoking sensitive atmosphere using colors, local materials and handcrafts that illustrate the cultural heritage of the area. In this particular property, Mexican handcraft merged with luxurious contemporary design brings nostalgic emotions, and a special character from guestroom experiences to all the public areas.

这四个项目从丛林、沙漠到海岸与半岛，在不同语境中呈现出一种清晰的设计路径：以场所为起点，通过材料、光线与空间秩序的克制组织，使建筑成为环境的延伸。设计不再强调形式表达，而是在自然、工艺与日常生活之间建立平衡，将地域性转化为可感知的空间体验，最终留下关于地方与生活方式的深层记忆。

These four projects range from jungles, deserts to coasts and peninsulas, presenting a clear design approach in various contexts: starting from the site, through the restrained organization of materials, light and spatial order, the building becomes an extension of the environment. The design no longer emphasizes form expression, but instead establishes a balance between nature, craftsmanship and daily life, transforming the regionality into an intangible spatial experience that can be perceived, ultimately leaving behind deep memories about the place and lifestyle.
