Located in Tianjin and designed by Gao Yunhao of MIR DESIGN, this project is a renovation of an older home. Taking “nature” as its guiding theme, the design employs natural materials, soft color palettes, and the textures of fabrics to create an effortlessly relaxed atmosphere, returning living to its essence of comfort.

The space incorporates a century-old wooden cabinet, brass pendant lights, and compact furniture, with every detail tailored to individual tastes and lifestyle habits. The sofa faces the balcony, where morning light gently cascades over the cotton-linen upholstery, soothingly easing the weariness of the day and lending the entire space a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The bookshelf’s back panel is accented with a slightly brighter shade of orange, adding a touch of warmth to the otherwise subdued palette. The walls are painted in a Morandi-inspired misty blue, paired with striped wallpaper featuring a vintage texture, which echoes the minimalist ceiling details and the patchwork flooring. The design does not aim for a forced retro aesthetic, but rather introduces a sense of the passage of time within a natural context.

The homeowner has a passion for tea ware and tea ceremonies, and as a result, the space features a serene, contemplative corner where one can pause and find peace.

The kitchen and dining area maintain an open and fluid layout, accommodating both cooking and a variety of other activities, reflecting a thoughtful response to modern lifestyles. The space is divided using a combination of Monet Garden tiles and solid wood, creating a natural ambiance while reinforcing functional organization.

The hallway has been redefined through visual extension, transforming the former laundry area into a multifunctional leisure space: a long table provides a place for studying, while the window area serves as a spot to soak up the sun and take a moment to relax.

项目位于天津，由弥尔设计工作室（MIR DESIGN）高云皓设计，是一套老房改造案例。设计以“自然”为线索，通过天然材质、柔和配色与织物肌理，营造出一种不刻意的松弛氛围，让居住回归舒适本质。

空间中融入百年老木柜、黄铜吊灯及小体量家具，在细节中回应个体审美与使用习惯。沙发朝向阳台布置，晨光缓缓洒落在棉麻表面，柔和地承接归家的疲惫，也让整个空间更显温润。

书架背板以明度稍高的橙色点缀，在冷静基调中增加一丝温度。墙面选用莫兰迪雾蓝色，搭配带有复古肌理的线条壁布，与简化处理的天花装饰、拼接地板相互呼应。设计并非刻意复古，而是在自然语境中引入时间的层次感。

屋主偏爱茶器与品茗，空间也因此多了一处可停留、可沉静的精神角落。

厨房与餐区保持开放与流动，兼顾烹饪与多重使用场景，体现对生活方式的细致回应。细部以莫奈花园砖结合实木进行分区，既具自然气息，也强化功能秩序。

过道通过视觉延展重新定义，将原本的晾衣区转化为复合休闲空间：长桌可供学习使用，窗边则成为晒太阳、停留片刻的角落。

卧室以原木藤编床与绿色亚麻床品为主，清晨光线透过窗帘洒入，光影与空间节奏自然交织，营造出安定而松弛的休憩氛围。

衣帽间延续整体蓝绿色调，设计简洁有序，内部通过抽拉挂杆等方式实现高效收纳与便捷取用。

卫生间以复古砖组合呈现出淡淡的Vintage气质，地面则选用偏暖的大地色系，在冷暖之间取得平衡。

家无需刻意张扬，却在每个细节中悄然回应生活本身，也像在轻声说一句：欢迎回家。

The bedroom features a solid wood and rattan bed paired with green linen bedding. As morning light filters through the curtains, the interplay of light and shadow naturally blends with the rhythm of the space, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere for rest.

The walk-in closet continues the overall blue-green color scheme, featuring a clean and organized design. Inside, pull-out hanging rods and other features ensure efficient storage and easy access.

The bathroom features a combination of retro tiles that lend it a subtle vintage charm, while the floor is finished in warm earth tones, striking a balance between cool and warm hues.

A home need not be ostentatious; instead, it quietly reflects the essence of life in every detail, as if whispering, “Welcome home.”
