Born 10 住宅改造项目由 NØRA Studio 主导设计，位于马略卡（Mallorca）。项目置身于相对紧凑的存量建筑环境中，旨在在有限空间条件下满足当代居住需求，通过审慎的结构优化与空间重构，为传统住宅赋予新的使用逻辑与尺度体验。

The Born 10 renovation project was led by NØRA Studio and is located in Mallorca. The project is situated within a relatively compact existing building environment and aims to meet contemporary living needs within a limited space. Through careful structural optimization and spatial reconfiguration, it gives new usage logic and scale experience to the traditional residence.

在空间布局上，设计未采取大规模拆改，而是通过嵌入式功能体块重构内部秩序。设计师在原有建筑结构中置入一个集成多种功能的核心柜体，将厨房、储物与辅助空间集中整合，从而释放出更加连贯、开放的公共活动区域。这一方式在保留原有建筑框架的同时，提高了空间利用效率，并使室内动线更加清晰顺畅。

In terms of spatial layout, the design did not involve extensive demolition or reconstruction. Instead, it reorganized the internal order through embedded functional blocks. The designer incorporated a core cabinet integrating multiple functions into the original building structure, concentrating the kitchen, storage, and auxiliary spaces together. This resulted in a more coherent and open public activity area. This approach preserved the original building framework while enhancing the efficiency of space utilization and making the indoor movement paths clearer and smoother.

材料与墙面处理秉持克制而精确的原则。设计有意识地保留墙面肌理与传统构造等历史元素，并与细腻的白色饰面及定制木作形成质感对比。这种新旧关系并非简单的视觉拼接，而是时间层次的自然叠加，使空间既延续历史语境，又具备当代生活所需的简洁与秩序。

The materials and wall treatment adhere to a principle of restraint and precision. The design consciously retains the wall texture and traditional construction elements, and contrasts them with the delicate white finish and custom woodwork in terms of texture. This relationship between the old and the new is not a simple visual juxtaposition, but a natural superimposition of time layers, allowing the space to both continue the historical context and possess the simplicity and order necessary for contemporary life.

从更深层价值来看，该项目体现了对紧凑型居住方式的再思考。Born 10 并未依赖面积扩张来解决空间问题，而是通过精细化设计策略，将有限空间转化为高度系统化的生活载体。以结构、功能与空间体验协同优化的设计方法，使住宅在尺度受限的条件下，依然具备丰富的空间层次与灵活的居住适应性。

From a deeper value perspective, this project demonstrates a rethinking of compact living styles. Born 10 does not rely on area expansion to solve spatial problems; instead, it achieves this through refined design strategies, transforming a limited space into a highly systematic living environment. Through a design approach that optimizes structure, function, and spatial experience in tandem, the residence maintains rich spatial layers and flexible living adaptability even under restricted scale conditions.
