In a rural setting, an old farmhouse undergoes a metamorphosis that respects its character while incorporating modern elements.

农舍原有的粉笔线条被保留了下来，但房屋内部却被拆掉，变成了一片宁静的绿洲。橡木、墨绿色天然石材和石灰成为改造的基本材料。从周围树木中穿透的过滤光线在纹理丰富的墙壁和装饰物上发挥着作用。

The original chalk lines of the farmhouse were retained, but the interior of the house was stripped down and transformed into an oasis of tranquillity. Oak, dark green natural stone and lime became the basic materials for the transformation. Filtered light penetrating from the surrounding trees plays on the richly textured walls and trim.

Núñez de Balboa 住宅

该房产位于Nuñez de Balboa街道，地处马德里最经典、最优雅的街区之一。它所在的建筑具有野蛮主义风格，刚性的外立面，独立单一的色彩搭配，这启发De la Villa 工作室在住宅中创造出宽敞、开放、相互连接的空间。

The property is located on Nuñez de Balboa street, in one of Madrids most classic and elegant neighbourhoods. The building in which it is located has a brutalist style, with rigid facades and an independent and monochromatic colour palette, which inspired De la Villa Studios to create spacious, open and interconnected spaces in the residence.

现有的布局将房间高度分隔，因此，住宅中心的采光明显不足。整体改造的目的是恢复室外的所有光线，并让光线从房间两侧穿过。为此，工作室将位于房屋一端的露台统一起来，取消了中间的隔断。

The existing layout separated the rooms at a high level and, as a result, there was a significant lack of light in the centre of the home. The aim of the overall remodelling was to restore all the light from outside and to allow light to pass through from both sides of the room. To do this, the studio united the terraces located at one end of the house and eliminated the centre partition.
