在巴黎市中心，一座始建于20世纪30年代的复式住宅，经由建筑师罗多尔夫·帕朗特（Rodolphe Parente）的细腻雕琢，完成了一场跨越时光的焕新。在保留原有艺术装饰（Art Déco）语汇的基础上，这座约440平方米的居所，被重塑为兼具当代气质与生活温度的理想家宅。

In the heart of Paris, a duplex residence built in the 1930s has undergone a time-transcending renovation by architect Rodolphe Parente. While maintaining the original Art Deco style, this approximately 440-square-meter dwelling has been transformed into an ideal home that combines contemporary charm with a warm living atmosphere.

从构思到落地，整个改造历时数年。设计团队没有被进度裹挟，而是以足够的耐心，让每一种材料、每一处细节，都在反复推敲后自然归位。改造前，这里本是两套独立单元，如今一座雕塑般的木质楼梯，成了串联空间的“脊柱”。它以造船级的精细木作工艺打造，线条柔和流畅，不仅让原本割裂的空间变得连贯，更赋予整个家宅一种灵动的节奏感。

From conception to implementation, the entire renovation process took several years. The design team did not get bogged down by the schedule; instead, with sufficient patience, every material and every detail was placed in its proper position after repeated deliberation. Before the renovation, this place was two separate units. Now, a sculptural wooden staircase, like a spine, has become the connecting element of the spaces. It is crafted with ship-grade meticulous woodworking, featuring smooth and flowing lines. This not only makes the originally disconnected spaces coherent but also endows the entire home with a dynamic rhythm.

沿着楼梯拾级而上，两个层级分明的生活系统徐徐展开。下层是热闹的公共区域，囊括前厅、起居室、餐厅、厨房与书房，是接待宾客、家人欢聚的核心场域；上层则是静谧的私密天地，四间卧室与三间浴室相依而居，承载着休憩与放松的日常。

Ascending the stairs, two distinct living systems gradually unfold before your eyes. The lower level is a bustling public area, encompassing the foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen and study, serving as the core area for hosting guests and family gatherings; the upper level is a serene private space, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms adjacent to each other, providing a place for rest and relaxation on a daily basis.

设计的精髓，在于营造一种“克制却持续变化”的氛围。屋主希望家是“亲密却开放、沉静而不炫示”的，因此帕朗特拒绝浮夸的陈设，转而追求空间的自然与可成长性。在这里，光线是当之无愧的主角：人工照明被尽可能隐藏，仅作为必要的辅助；自然光的流动轨迹，直接决定了色彩的选择与家具的轮廓，让空间在朝暮晨昏里，呈现出截然不同的柔和明暗梯度。

The essence of design lies in creating an atmosphere that is restrained yet constantly evolving. The homeowner desires a home that is close-knit yet open, serene yet unassuming. Therefore, Palant refused ostentatious furnishings and instead pursued the naturalness and growth potential of the space. Here, light is the undisputed protagonist: artificial lighting is hidden as much as possible and only serves as necessary assistance; the trajectory of natural light directly determines the choice of colors and the contours of furniture, allowing the space to present distinct gradients of softness and darkness throughout the day, from dawn to dusk.

手工打造的细节，更是为家宅蒙上了一层温润的质感。定制圆形沙发坐镇起居室中央，既是视觉焦点，也象征着家庭交流的核心；不同房间的材料巧妙转换，却始终保持着精致低调的连续性，让行走其间的每一步，都像一场“慢速编舞”般流畅惬意。

The handcrafted details add a warm and smooth texture to the home. The custom round sofa, placed in the center of the living room, serves as the visual focal point and symbolizes the core of family communication. The materials in different rooms are ingeniously transformed, yet maintain a delicate and understated continuity, making every step taken within the space feel smooth and pleasant like a slow dance.

在帕朗特的构想里，这座住宅从不是供人观赏的展示舞台，而是一个能容纳生活点滴的容器。它克制、敏感，充满情感，更能随着时光流转，与居住者的生活一同生长、慢慢变老。

In Palants conception, this residence is not merely a display platform for people to admire, but rather a container that can hold the daily moments of life. It is restrained, sensitive, and full of emotions. Moreover, it can grow and age along with the life of the occupants as time goes by.
