Aspen Town Residence is a minimalist mountain residence in Aspen, Colorado, designed by interior designer Clive Lonstein. The entire residence responds to the vast nature of the Rocky Mountains with a precise control of scale and emotion.

朗斯坦（Lonstein）有意“降低所有家具的风格”，在视觉上放低家具的高度，以强调空间的水平线。他用一组低调且温润的定制家具，在庞大的空间中营造出亲密感。棕褐色皮革沙发与饰有皮革包边的羊毛椅围绕着壁炉布局，如同星座一般散落于开放客厅，色彩沉稳，呼应户外山体的地质色调。

Lonstein deliberately "lowered the style of all furniture", visually lowering the height of the furniture to emphasize the horizontal line of the space. He created a sense of intimacy in the vast space with a set of low-key and warm custom-made furniture. The brownish leather sofa and the wool chairs with leather trim are arranged around the fireplace, scattered like constellations in the open living room. The colors are calm and composed, echoing the geological tones of the outdoor mountain.

The fireplace itself is a delicate metaphor of structure and form - it is designed as a structure like a corner window, allowing the firelight and mountain views to converge within, and also blurring the boundaries between architecture and nature, as well as between shelter and openness.

材质的搭配流露出朗斯坦对手工艺的敏锐眼光。一张邓巴（Dunbar）出品、由爱德华·沃姆利（Edward Wormley）设计的边桌，在木质基座上轻盈地承托着一块玻璃台面，就像对空间节奏的一次顿号；一旁保罗·弗兰克尔（Paul Frankl）设计的咖啡桌，则以加州现代主义的线条语言，在奶油色调的润饰下融入更为内敛的氛围。

The combination of materials reveals Langsteins sharp eye for craftsmanship. A side table produced by Dunbar and designed by Edward Wormley lightly supports a glass countertop on a wooden base, just like a comma to the rhythm of the space; Beside it, the coffee table designed by Paul Frankl, with the line language of California modernism, blends into a more reserved atmosphere under the embellishment of cream tones.

One of the most tense points in space is Jean-Michel Basquiats print work "Flexible". It was ingeniously placed beside the wool chair, activating the overall quiet and orderly space with a controlled "chaos". It is not merely a work of art, but a declaration: flexibility is precisely the core spirit of this residence.

餐厅区域则将历史与当代并置。让-米歇尔·弗兰克（Jean-Michel Frank）设计的椅子环绕着光泽感十足的木桌，1930 年代的极简奢华在此显得格外现代。头顶悬挂的定制玻璃吊灯由迈克尔·戴维斯（Michael Davis）设计，通透如宝石，将自然光引入室内，轻盈地照亮餐桌上方的一隅温柔。

The restaurant area juxtaposes history with modernity. The chairs designed by Jean-Michel Frank surround the lustrous wooden table, and the minimalist luxury of the 1930s appears particularly modern here. The custom-made glass chandelier hanging above, designed by Michael Davis, is as transparent as a gem, bringing natural light into the room and gently illuminating a gentle corner above the dining table.
