Lighting brand Arkoslight is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a nearly 1,000-square-meter expansion of its headquarters in Valencia, Spain, which aims to diversify its product portfolio while offering more possibilities for inspiration, experimentation and innovation in interactive scenes.

As a high-end brand in the field of technical and architectural lighting, Arkoslight is renowned for its excellent craftsmanship, innovative lighting design and unique interpretation of light. The brand regards light as a kind of building material, creates new sensory experience and atmosphere through the interaction of light and space, pursues the expression of minimalist aesthetics, pays attention to the functionality of lighting, and advocates the combination of decoration and practicality.
Arkoslight扩建后的总部空间被分为两部分:由西班牙著名极简设计师Francesc Rifé精心设计,并在形式上与原空间保持一致。其中上层呈现出沉稳的基调,以体现品牌40年的积淀;而下层则展示了品牌的互动项目—— “Feel the Light(感受光)”,旨在通过感官营造,使访客深入了解品牌特性和设计文化。
Arkoslights expanded headquarters space is divided into two parts: meticulously designed by renowned Spanish minimalist designer Francesc Rife, and the form is consistent with the original space. The upper layer presents a calm tone to reflect the accumulation of the brand for 40 years; the lower level displays the brands interactive project, Feel the Light, which aims to give visitors an in-depth understanding of the brands identity and design culture through sensory creation.
Influenced by minimalism and following familiar traditions
空间以烟熏镜面为核心,通过光、影的对比与互动,展现装饰性与技术性照明的平衡之美。展厅的上层凸显了Francesc Rifé对空间的全新构想,展示一种灯具组合的创新方式。
The smoky mirror is the core of the space, and through the contrast and interaction of light and shadow, the balance of decorative and technical lighting is demonstrated. The upper floor of the exhibition hall highlights Francesc Rifes new conception of the space, showing an innovative way of combining lamps.
上层空间以黑色钢材与白色为主调,延续品牌的极简风格,同时融入新颖的灯具照明方式,传达品牌对设计与技术的不懈追求,也体现品牌日臻成熟的立体形象。
The upper space is mainly colored with black steel and white, continuing the minimalist style of the brand, while integrating novel lighting methods, conveying the brands unremitting pursuit of design and technology, and reflecting the brands increasingly mature three-dimensional image.
上层包括两间满足多功能商务需求以及展现品牌专业形象的现代化会议室,一间以户外环境为灵感,重现自然与设计的融合,并拥有独特的金属结构;一间为设计与建筑专业人士提供动态创意的过渡展厅,他们可以利用Arkoslight的灯具创作定制化产品,以激发跨界的协作与灵感。
The upper floor includes two modern meeting rooms that meet the needs of multi-functional businesses and present the brands professional image. One is inspired by the outdoor environment and recreates the fusion of nature and design, with a unique metal structure; A transitional showroom for design and architecture professionals who can create customized products using Arkoslights lamps to inspire collaboration and inspiration across boundaries.
下层的互动空间通过 “Feel the Light” 项目打造出置身其中的感知氛围,让访客与光进行直接互动,深入理解光的技术与美学属性。这一空间以电影化的表现形式,通过多媒体与投影建构沉浸式的视觉与听觉体验,诠释光在营造情感与舒适环境中的重要作用。
The interactive space on the lower level creates a sensory atmosphere through the Feel the Light project, allowing visitors to directly interact with light and gain an in-depth understanding of its technical and aesthetic properties. In the form of cinematic expression, the space constructs an immersive visual and auditory experience through multimedia and projection, interpreting the important role of light in creating an emotional and comfortable environment.
室内还以艺术的形式呈现光的折射、反射等复杂概念,通过科学与艺术的结合,让访客感受到“光既空灵”这一至关重要的一面。
The interior also presents complex concepts such as light refraction and reflection in the form of art. Through the combination of science and art, visitors can feel the vital aspect of light is ethereal.
此次扩建延续了Arkoslight总部以绿色植被为核心的设计理念。设计师Francesc Rifé将其作为空间的重要连接元素,并于室外设计了一条深邃的夜间长廊,与品牌最新的户外产品系列相呼应,展现光与自然的和谐对话。
This extension continues Arkoslights design concept of green vegetation as the core. Designer Francesc Rife regarded it as an important connecting element of the space and designed a deep night promenade outside, which echoes the brands latest outdoor product collection, showing a harmonious dialogue between light and nature.
作为庆祝品牌成立40周年重要里程碑式的项目,Arkoslight的扩建不仅展示品牌的持续成长,更标志着其在光与设计领域的创新探索。这一新篇章以光为核心,彰显了品牌对设计、技术与人文关怀的深刻理解,进一步奠定它在全球照明行业的领先地位。
