Huaxiao, defined as a coffee museum, is a complex commercial space in its spatial attributes. This new work introduces coffee culture into an eastern perspective, creating a coffee shop that is not just an Oriental concept under the influence of history, but a place that interweaves heavy history and contemporary art and design, and truly adjusts emotions and five senses.

西安，古时称为长安，丝绸之路的起点。在城市文化中处处穿插着大唐印象，从古城至林立高楼，从唐代来又与现代交织。桐里本次新作-花咲来到这座雍容盛大的古都，将咖啡文化引入东方视角，在历史熏陶中打造出不止于一个东方概念的商业空间，而是真正调拨情绪与五感之地。

Xian, known as Changan in ancient times, was the starting point of the Silk Road. The city culture is interspersed with the impression of the Tang Dynasty. Tonglis new work, Flower Alas, has come to this graceful and grand ancient capital, presenting the Chinese style of imagination more three-dimensionally in the modern world.

由景入境，客观入主观。

Entering the country from the scenery, the objective into the subjective.

初入景中，一副属于中国式浪漫的“画卷”缓缓展开.....设计师采用自然造景之法，补拙传统园林的古意。植物树荫、池水波光、小桥流水隐在花树之间，风与光聚合在此赋予物像之美，一片生机盎然，让客人们欣赏、驻足、漫游、涌簇在这片静谧的浪漫新境。

At the beginning of the landscape, a scroll of Chinese romance slowly unfolds ..... The designer utilizes natural elements to let guests appreciate and stay in this quiet place.

东方设计的内核挖掘，首先引起共鸣的是「形」。

The first thing that resonates with the excavation of the kernel of oriental design is form.

长安民居是古都文明的立体展品，它所展现的个性特质是开放兼容，结构上有着对早期大气磅礴的官邸追摹，而空间布置浓缩着对区域文明、哲学社会的记录...设计师临摹贵族名居的样貌，将整个咖啡会馆分为正厅、庭院..，其中穿插榫卯、回廊等藻饰之物。

Changan residence is a three-dimensional exhibit of the civilization of the ancient capital, which shows openness and compatibility. The structure is a copy of the early magnificent official residence, and the layout is full of records of regional civilization, philosophy and society... Inspired by this, the designers divided the entire caféinto the main hall, courtyard... Interspersed with mortise and tenon joints, corridors and other decorative objects.

步入其中，环形咖啡吧台围绕柱头展开。作为中式建筑的灵魂——榫卯结构，榫卯之美蕴含平衡有序、内外兼修，诠释着物与物、人与物、人与空间的交互美学。在吧台视角下如一盘中国围棋，致敬旧时长安的景观之美，在白居易笔下“千百家如围棋局，十二街似种菜畦。”

As the soul of Chinese architecture - mortise and tenon structure, the beauty of mortise and tenon implies balance and order, interpreting the interactive aesthetics. The view from the bar is like a game of Chinese Go, paying homage to the beauty of the vertically intertwined neighborhoods of Changan in the old days.

当然真正的传承不是一位追随浅层的符号。

Heritage is about Whats inside, not Whats on the surface.

在东方历史上，会馆文化像是一个融入各种民俗、艺文生活的博物馆，在旧时长安也犹为盛行。设计师启发于古时的会馆群落，结合咖啡文化转译为现代可触摸，沉浸式的体验，邀请大家沉下心存在于场域之中，与品牌一起相互定义，相互影响。

In the history of the Orient, the guild culture is like a museum of folklore and art, which was also prevalent in Changan in the old days. The designers were inspired to translate the coffee culture into a modern, touchable and immersive experience.

以风味为引，在咖啡醇香的熏染中漫步廊桥。品牌的具象意识幻化为一件件陈展中回溯品牌的成长历程，犹如一个“博物馆”，将人与品牌的叙事推进到新的体感范围，一起共探趣味横生的咖啡世界。

Using the flavour as a guide, you can walk along the bridge inthe aroma of coffee. The brands figurative consciousness istransformed into a piece of exhibition retracing the brandsgrowth, like a museum.

折衷主义是新东方的框架。

Eclecticism is the framework of the New East.

空间中粘土、老木等在地材质的使用，使建筑的大气磅礴得以彰显，而自然元素的过渡恰好中和了材质的几分古朴。当建筑与自然合二为一，满园诗意注入一间咖肆与唐宋生活美学交融，设计师尽善尽美地抒写了此地的东方特质，成就一处城市中的惬意归所。

The integration of natural elements with clay, wood and other spatial materials brings out the grandeur of the building and neutralizes the rusticity of the materials.

设计师纵观历史，环顾生活，是承接亦是创造，用前人的灿星，承接现代的生活方式、思维感官、从而汇聚知识去织造空间。

Designers look at history, look around the life, is to undertake and create, with the brilliant star of the previous generation, to undertake the modern way of life.

从传统东方到当代文化，步履不停的再造与融合，或许为咖啡而来，但最终品茗的不止咖啡余香，而是与东方史韵一脉相承的审美与余味....

In the end, its not just the aftertaste of coffee, but the aesthetics and aftertaste that are inherited from the history of the Orient ....
