Perth is an oasis in western Australia, with the nickname of wildflower capital and City of Swans. Its vast land and sparse population make it rarely subject to human interference and influence. People live in it, and enjoy the close contact with nature, and accept the selfless gifts of nature.

和室内设计师Phoebe Allen想要给顾客带来一场独特的感官之旅，提升视觉、触觉和嗅觉的体验，于此可以得到真正意义上的放松。

In Perths central business district, Ember Bath House, a newly opened spa, is the new local retreat. Studio Traces Creative director Tracy Zorich and interior designer Phoebe Allen wanted to take customers on a unique sensory journey, elevating the experience of sight, touch and smell to truly relax.

Studio Traces设计Ember Bath House时，以人为本，将同理心和抚慰需求作为设计的主要切入，他们从古老的沐浴习俗中获得灵感，其初衷是将人们带入一个自我疗愈和护理的“天堂”，并由光与影来指引，开启一场健康之旅。

When Studio Traces designed Ember Bath House, they put people first, taking empathy and soothing needs as the main cuts in the design. They drew inspiration from ancient bathing customs, and their original intention was to bring people to a paradise of self-healing and care, guided by light and shadow, to start a journey of health.

为了让顾客能够更好地沉浸其中，有意营造的昏暗灯光让空间更具氛围，从室外进入室内，仿佛直接由白天进入到了黑夜。

In order to allow customers to better immerse themselves in it, the deliberately created dim lighting gives the space more atmosphere, from the outside to the inside, as if directly from day to night.

Ember Bath House原来是一间仓库，有着开阔的尺度和明显的工业特征，如今，一些关键的部分被设计师进行了优化处理，构筑了一处具有在地性的、能够传递情感的空间。

Ember Bath House was originally a warehouse with an open scale and obvious industrial character, but now some key elements have been optimized by the designers to create a space that is both local and emotional.

当你进入室内，好像被一条温暖的、松软的毛巾所包裹，整个空间给人感觉既禅意同时又不失野蛮的酷感。

新的空间将日本温泉和土耳其浴的元素进行融合，为历史悠久的沐浴传统注入了新的现代气息。

When you enter the interior, it feels as if you are wrapped in a warm, fluffy towel, and the whole space feels zen and cool at the same time. The new space blends elements of Japanese hot springs and Turkish baths, giving a new modern twist to a time-honored bathing tradition.

从入口深入水疗中心的内部，一场从冷暖矿泉浴池到蒸汽浴室再到芬兰桑拿浴室和水疗护理室的空间之旅便正式开启，空间上的递进旨将访客从喧嚣的城市生活中缓慢转入到宁静的环境里，让访客的心境逐渐变得平静。

From the entrance into the interior of the spa, a journey from the hot and cold mineral bath to the steam room to the Finnish sauna and spa treatment room is officially opened, and the spatial progression aims to slowly transfer visitors from the hustle and bustle of urban life to the peaceful environment, so that the visitors mind gradually becomes calm.

材料探索

室内有着强烈的锚定感，过渡空间中的几块天然石材、厚重的家具和装置都强化了这种感觉。

大体量的原材料、几乎纯粹的暖灰色调以及明暗交错的氛围营造出独特的氛围。

原仓库的混凝土墙壁被保留了下来，原始的表面给人一种野蛮主义的美感，并陈列着一些珍贵的二手家具。

The interior has a strong sense of anchoring, reinforced by several pieces of natural stone, heavy furniture and fixtures in the transition space. The sheer volume of raw materials, the almost pure warm grey tones and the intermingling of light and dark create a unique atmosphere. The concrete walls of the original warehouse have been preserved, the original surface giving a barbaric aesthetic and displaying some valuable second-hand furniture.

灯光照射下的岩石引导着“健康之旅”，在坚硬（岩石）与柔软（窗帘）、光明与黑暗之间取得平衡。

内部大多采用当地的材料，以表达

Studio Traces对可持续发展和在地性的关注。其中来自附近采石场的岩石成为了空间里一大特色，而现有的细木工制品则被赋予了新的生机与活力，同时还减少浪费。一系列定制的产品以及与当地工匠合作的手工容器为空间增添了艺术的气息。

The interiors are mostly made of local materials to express Studio Traces focus on sustainability and localism. Rocks from a nearby quarry are a major feature of the space, while existing joinery is given new life and vitality while reducing waste. A range of bespoke products and handmade containers in collaboration with local artisans add an artistic touch to the space.

When we think about the overall design details, imagine how peoples emotional responses and the dark, light, materiality and volume of space relate to us, design naturally affects people.

迎宾空间内放置着充满细节的长凳座位，由简约优雅的砂岩块材料与镀锌金属结合而成。

柔软的

BAINA毛巾被放置于坚硬的岩石上，并与其形成质地的对比，在纹理和触觉之间寻找着某种意义上的平衡。

The soft BAINA towel is placed on the hard rock and provides a texture contrast, finding a sense of balance between texture and touch.

空间之中，随处可见新西兰的身体护理品牌

Sans [Ceuticals］产品，供客人们使用，该品牌追求全天然的物质成分与Ember Bath House的理念完美契合。

Throughout the space, New Zealand body care brand Sans [Ceuticals] products are available for guests to use, and the brands pursuit of all-natural ingredients perfectly fits the concept of Ember Bath House.

Ember Bath House，人们紧张的情绪得以放松，空间中无论是在色调上、材料上还是氛围的营造上都经过精心的设计，它们被完美地组合在一起，共同构建了这处具有安全感的场所。

Stepping into Ember Bath House, peoples tension is relaxed, and the space is carefully designed in terms of color, materials and atmosphere, which are perfectly combined to create a safe place.
