Holiday House Hof Ahmen 位于德国石勒苏益格-荷尔斯泰因州的科珀比，由柏林年轻事务所 Atelier Sunder-Plassmann 设计。这座位于波罗的海与北海之间的55平方米度假屋坐落在 Sunder-Plassmann 家族经营的养羊场上，周围环绕着广袤的牧场和典型的当地自然景观。它完美地融合了当地的严谨建筑传统与现代主义风格，为住客提供了一个与自然紧密相连的独特居住体验。

The design of Holiday House Hof Ahmen is inspired by modernist architecture, especially the works of masters such as Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson. The building is dominated by an all-glass curtain wall that blurs the boundary between interior and exterior. Nature becomes the protagonist of the interior, and guests can not only feel the light, clouds, seasons and weather changes, but also can feel the sheep at 6 a.m. up close, as if they are part of this natural environment.

The holiday home continues the farms original architectural layout with the addition of a suspended roof deck, echoing the proportions and form of the traditional local barn Drempel. Below the floating platform is the main living space, which is connected to the outside world by a large glass wall. Sliding doors usher residents into the house, where the spacious 4 m x10 m main room and 4.1 m high ceilings artfully combine rural traditional architectural forms with simple modern lines.

The interior design follows a simple modernist style, while using a large amount of wood as an element to divide the space. The three main functional areas are naturally separated by wooden slats: the dining area on the south is filled with sunlight, the living area on the north captures the evening light, while the kitchen and wet area are embedded in the central wooden structure, both separating them from the rest and maintaining the overall sense of openness. In addition, the sleeping area is embedded in a wooden cube within a glass platform, which is private and intimate, in contrast to the open public space.

Sunder-Plassmanns design philosophy is perfectly reflected in the Holiday House Hof Ahmen. The passive solar effect and heavy concrete panels make it almost impossible for residents to use additional heating from March to November, providing warmth and comfort in the cold North German climate.
