Architects and designers often play the role of psychologists: they help clients understand what kind of interior design will satisfy them. A young woman purchased a 150 meter apartment for herself and her teenage daughter in the Garden Quarters residential area. Due to her busy work schedule, she acted quickly: she found a team called Zeworkroom online and sent them photos of their favorite interior decorations.

Garden Quarters offers classic, minimalist, Scandinavian, and medieval modern styles. We spent a long time piecing together the puzzle and created a taste portrait for the client. Their conclusion is that she needs space that is not limited by specific moments. Whether now or in ten years, these things look suitable for any era.

There is very little furniture in the apartment, which is why the function of each item is so important. I spent a lot of time searching for a sofa - I wanted to find a comfortable and unfamiliar model. When we saw Vincent van Duysen designing Marteen for the Molteni-C factory, we immediately understood: this is what we need. We really like this designer and are inspired by his work, the designers said.

The items from the studios own furniture brand seamlessly fit the project - in autumn, the author showcased NW Bureaus first collection. The dining table TA01 consists of a tabletop and a base, which do not require screws during assembly. These chairs are also original; The NW series includes a modified version called Hoe. Architects say that objects that combine wood and stone are particularly difficult, such as buffets in restaurants, as they involve different manufacturers.

The main material for creating an atmosphere is golden red oak, which was a characteristic of interior decoration in the 1970s. Against the calm and warm gray beige plaster background, it looks unexpectedly bright. The limestone fragments cleverly supplemented this concept - these three types of finishes continued throughout the entire project. This shell is suitable for both modern filling and retro, Alexey said.
