With offices in Milan and New York, Lissoni - Partners has a thirty-year history in developing international projects in the fields of architecture, landscape, interior, product and graphic design, in addition to being responsible for the art direction for some of the most influential design companies.

The AKA NoMad hotel is the first project realized in New York City and is located in the center of the new design district. The entrance is designed as a filter that transports guests from the pulsating heart of the city into an elegant and sophisticated oasis, a metropolitan refuge of tranquility and peace.

这个概念转化为简洁的线条和极简主义的美学，受到日本和斯堪的纳维亚文化的明显影响。

The concept translates into clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic, with evident influences of Japanese and Scandinavian cultures.

青铜金属的雕塑楼梯与Pietra dAvola的台阶定义了入口，像折纸作品一样发展到夹层地板的大型背光体量。经常被过滤的光线产生了柔和的环境，自然材料，如木材和石头，两侧是浅色和中性色调的织物，定制的家具与当代设计和标志性物品并列。

A sculptural staircase in bronze-painted metal with steps in Pietra dAvola defines the entrance, developing like a work of origami up to the large backlit volume of the mezzanine floor. The often filtered light generates soft and cocconing environments where natural materials such as wood and stone are flanked by fabrics of light and neutral tones and bespoke furnishings are juxtaposed with contemporary design and iconic objects.

Its not formalised - it’s a hotel that narrates and speaks with a touch of style, a touch of art-deco, a touch of the 50s… and we’ll see what else.”
