In the context of globalization, architecture must not only meet the needs of living and function, but also become a bridge between culture and nature. The 28.0855 project is just such an attempt to create a space in harmony with nature through honesty in design and respect for the environment.

28.0855 The design philosophy of the project is based on a deep respect for the natural environment. The name of the project is taken from the atomic weight of silicon, which as the foundation element of most stones in nature, symbolizes the close connection between the building and nature. The design team used traditional dry-stone wall techniques found in Mexican country estates to create borders that coexist harmoniously with the external environment through naturally erected and assembled stones.

The internal layout of the project is centered on a central courtyard and an internal garden, which leads the residents on a contemplative walk. The introduction of the Japanese onsen, which provides residents with a leisure space surrounded by water, stones and gardens, enhances the direct connection with nature. At the same time, the spas design seeks privacy, with each space turning inward, creating a blind facade with stone boundary walls that give the project integrity.

The project implemented a passive sustainability strategy in its design. The south-facing open space and air-gap Windows are designed to reduce reliance on artificial cooling and heating. The use of stone walls not only regulates temperature peaks, improves thermal energy and energy efficiency, but also selects stone that is native to the area, effectively reducing the carbon emissions of the project.
