护肤品牌 Aesop 在曼谷的 Thonglor 社区开设了其在泰国的首家独立门店。这家门店的室内设计由清迈的 Sher Maker 工作室负责。

Skincare brand Aesop has opened its first standalone store in Thailand in Bangkoks Thonglor neighbourhood. The stores interior was designed by Sher Maker Studio in Chiang Mai.

The first impression of Aesops store in Bangkoks Thonglor neighborhood is that it is surrounded by wood and cool shadows. The Thonglor neighbourhood is a charming blend of modern and traditional Thai charm, with galleries, bars, cafes and independent shops forming a strong local community.

Aesop 向来善于挑选街区，在曼谷也不例外。Sher Maker 工作室的创始人在构思设计时将目光投向了周边社区的方言，并延伸至泰国各省。遵循 Aesop 以最少材料实现最大效果的原则，店内单一材料的内饰主要由回收的柚木定义，这些柚木有的来自建筑所有者的个人收藏，有的来自附近地区，背景则是该地区常见的纹理白色石膏。Inplang 表示，木材在设计中不可或缺，以诚实的方式被使用，所有元素都在合理系统中被当作家具而非装饰品。店内中央的水槽采用了泰国常见的花岗岩，体现了尽量使用当地材料和劳动力的明确意图。

Aesop has always been good at picking neighborhoods, and Bangkok is no exception. The founders of Sher Maker Studio looked to the dialects of the surrounding communities and extended to the provinces of Thailand when they conceived the design. Following Aesops principle of maximizing effect with minimal materials, the stores single-material interiors are defined primarily by recycled teak, none from the building owners personal collection, some from nearby areas, and the background is the textured white plaster common in the region. According to Inplang, wood is integral to the design, used in an honest way, and all elements are treated as furniture rather than ornaments in a proper system. The central sink in the store is made of granite common in Thailand, reflecting a clear intention to use local materials and labor as much as possible.

与世界各地的 Aesop 门店一样，这里也有着现代的家居品质和美学。店内的 Fa-Lhai 房间别具特色，它是一个僻静的木制凉亭，灵感源自泰国北部的住宅类型。商店中央的四部分水槽也是对家庭生活的致敬，每个花岗岩盆的灵感来源于 kraba-din，即传统的土火坑，是当地村庄公共聚会的中心。

Like Aesop stores around the world, there is a modern home quality and aesthetic. The Fa-Lhai room features a secluded wooden gazebo inspired by residential types in northern Thailand. The four-part sink in the center of the store is also a nod to family life, with each granite basin inspired by kraba-din, the traditional earth fire pit that serves as the center of public gatherings in the local village.

工艺和技术同样是设计的核心，传统细木工用于制作木柱和长凳，横梁、接缝和表面的手工制作不仅令人满意，触感更是上佳。

Craftsmanship and technology are also at the heart of the design, with traditional joinery used to make the wooden columns and benches, and the hand-made beams, joints and surfaces are not only satisfactory, but also feel good to the touch.
