Casa TD is a minimalist house in LAmpolla, Spain, designed by gr-os in collaboration with Skye Maunsell and Jordi Veciana. On the edge of LAmpolla, near the Ebro Delta, a new architectural project was born, with the aim of establishing a connection with the local area while at the same time distinguishing itself from the surrounding urban development.

The project introduces an independent structure as a tribute to the areas lost architectural heritage. The design is inspired by the rustic charm of the traditional cottages of the Ebro Delta, the lost LAmpolla waterfront, and agricultural architecture, and creatively combines these influences with modern design concepts.

The design consists of three distinct volumes that are arranged horizontally and vertically. The layout is strategic: the first volume has a spacious zinc roof that acts as a buffer between the street and the internal garden, ensuring privacy; The second volume consists of the vertical circulation of the house, which extends upwards to the roof terrace and the garden with sea views; The third volume faces south, creating a shaded courtyard. This layout makes full use of space, creating a series of interconnected indoor and outdoor areas that enhance the spatial complexity of the property.

房屋内部面积超过 400 平方米，经过精心规划，可灵活使用，以满足居住者不断变化的需求。设计原则还体现在材料和饰面的选择上，抛光混凝土地板模糊了室内外空间的界限，内置的混凝土家具元素增添了实用且时尚的感觉。外立面采用石灰砂浆饰面，这是对地中海建筑传统的一种致敬，其特点是深窗能最大限度减少阳光照射，同时最大限度提高存储空间和实用空间。

With an interior area of over 400 square meters, the house has been carefully planned for flexible use to meet the changing needs of its occupants. The design principles are also reflected in the choice of materials and finishes, with polished concrete floors blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor Spaces, and built-in concrete furniture elements adding a functional and stylish feel. The facade is clad in lime mortar, a nod to Mediterranean architectural traditions, and features deep Windows that minimize sunlight exposure while maximizing storage and utility space.

The sustainability of the project is enhanced by a number of measures, including solar panels, mechanical ventilation, and an advanced heating system that balances traditional methods with modern energy efficiency standards.

室内设计体现了地中海风格，其调色板灵感源自周围的景观、大地和花园中的本土植物。布局优先考虑花园和大海的景观，促进了室内外生活空间的无缝过渡。家具和固定装置的选择基于功能性和美学吸引力，将木材、陶瓷、纺织品和钢材等材料结合在一起，以鼓励居住者在未来进行个性化定制。

The interior design reflects the Mediterranean style, with a color palette inspired by the surrounding landscape, the land and native plants in the garden. The layout prioritizes views of the garden and the sea, facilitating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living Spaces. Furniture and fixtures were chosen based on functional and aesthetic appeal, combining materials such as wood, ceramics, textiles and steel to encourage future personalisation by the occupants.

The garden itself is an extension of the houses design concept, surrounded by low walls and planted with Mediterranean native vegetation suited to the regions dry climate. A swimming pool complements the design of the garden, connecting the outdoor and indoor Spaces through a series of concrete platforms.
