该住宅占地4500平方英尺，拥有15个房间，包括书房、艺术室、摄影工作室、三间卧室以及下层的酒窖、酒吧、健身房等。Brown将客厅分成两个不同的区域，在前门附近增加一张椭圆形大桌子，可用作餐桌。

The 4,500-square-foot home has 15 rooms, including a study, art room, photography studio, three bedrooms, and a lower-level wine cellar, bar, gym, and more.Brown divided the living room into two distinct areas and added a large oval table near the front door that can be used as a dining table.

Betsy Brown擅长打造平静、内敛、永恒的室内空间，并将住宅与周围环境完美融合。从阳台眺望伯明翰的群山和这座城市著名的地标，从中汲取灵感，并与周围树木的绿色形成呼应，从而达到引景入室的效果。

结合业主丰富的艺术收藏品装饰墙壁，展示了一些不同时代的摄影作品，赋予空间更多的艺术内涵。开放式厨房经过重新设计，拆除了两个房间之间的墙壁，使空间更加开阔和明朗。中浅色木质橱柜与地板融为一体，彰显个性的大理石防溅板和圆形窗带来戏剧效果。

The walls are decorated with the owners rich art collection, and some photography works from different eras are displayed, giving the space more artistic connotation.The open kitchen has been redesigned by removing the wall between the two rooms, making the space more open and clear.Medium to light wood cabinetry blends into the floor, while a statement marble splashback and round window provide dramatic effect.

值得一提的是，设计师还特意采购了一些复古家具，与室内已有的收藏品相呼应。主卧室配有一张中世纪的柚木沙发床、Jindrich Halabala椅子和MDM定制的橡木床头柜。

It is worth mentioning that the designer also specially purchased some retro furniture to echo the existing collections in the room.The master bedroom features a mid-century teak sofa bed, Jindrich Halabala chair and MDM custom oak nightstands.
