涞源，人类在六千多年前便于此定居，从新石器时代到商周时期逐步形成一定规模。翘盼太行山北麓，远望明长城，在岁月如歌的静悄中，人们于此相融于月的轨迹，在时间的轮调里，满载着对生命的重塑。

Laiyuan, human beings settled here more than six thousand years ago, and gradually formed a certain scale from the Neolithic Age to the Shang and Zhou Dynasties. Looking forward to the northern foothills of Taihang Mountains and the Ming Great Wall in the distance, in the silence of the years like a song, the people here blend in the trajectory of the moon, and in the rotation of time, full of the reshaping of life.

剧场整体还原自然应有的痕迹，无论是上空所见所听，或是白昼与星月交融的历史纵深，自然已然沉浸在空间中，通过色调、光影、曲线式塑定，以沉静曼妙的姿态迎接着每一场观赏人群。

The theatre as a whole restores the traces of nature, whether it is what you see and hear in the sky, or the depth of history where the daytime and the stars and the moon mingle, nature has already been immersed in the space, and through the colour tones, light and shadow, and curvilinear shaping, the theatre greets the crowds of every audience with a quiet and delicate gesture.

入口处的祖母绿大理石面台，恰似涞源境内唯一不断流的拒马河，以定神般在柔焦的空间中作为外场核岛，凝聚着信息、导标之用。以此开始，场所主核将随立面如音符般跳跃的拱券型面壁娓娓诉来。

静待好剧上映

天地间万物生，奇妙故事总在日常悄然布局，犹如一场精心排演的话剧，在人生的舞台上，每一个人都是一连串的剧情点。空间也会像一位谦谦君子，涵纳着温润如玉的视像。

Everything in heaven and earth is born, the wonderful story is always in the daily quiet layout, like a well-rehearsed drama, in the stage of life, each person is a series of plot points. Space will also be like a modest gentleman, encompassing a warm and gentle as jade visual image.

场所的色调界定发想于太行山的北麓风景，由象牙白主导，交融「灰」在不同色系的递进，诸如庚斯博罗灰、橄榄灰、亮岩灰等，使平稳的气韵注入全场，好似低音美声歌唱家的曲律在空间中回音悠扬。

The colour palette of the venue is inspired by the landscape of the northern foothills of Taihang Mountains, dominated by ivory white, intermingled with grey in the progression of different colours, such as Gainsborough grey, Olive grey, Bright-Rock grey, and so on, so that the smoothness and charm is injected into the whole venue, just like the bass singers melody echoes in the space.

公共建筑的魅力在于，更加关注人与环境的和谐统一。将人的使用置于首位，尤其注重情绪与场域的融合。剧场作为建立彼此沟通、文化畅联的媒介空间，在关乎艺术传播的行进中，更需要具备带有轻盈质感的张力。

The appeal of public architecture lies in the increased attention to the harmony between people and the environment. Putting the use of people in the first place, it pays special attention to the integration of emotions and the field. The theatre, as a space for establishing communication and cultural links, needs to have a light texture of tension in the process of artistic dissemination.

A moments pause before the viewing.

观赏前的片刻停留

统筹功能区所需，内部空间获得逐一主题润饰的可能。随着建筑的创想，其端部升起，由此得到主核纵向复制的梯级。而这里作为共享书堂，不仅增添了行动路线的趣味，软饰更在一定程度上缓和了因倾斜而带来的冲突感。

By integrating the needs of the functional areas, the interior spaces are given the possibility to be embellished theme by theme. With the creation of the building, its end rises, thus obtaining the main core of the vertical reproduction of the staircase. As a shared bookstore, it not only adds interest to the route of action, but the soft furnishings also soften to a certain extent the sense of conflict brought about by the inclination.

与大面积自然光的相遇，空间顶部的压缩感荡然无存，配合暖调的木料，柔软皮质的矩形蒲垫，和玻璃格栅一起，与对面的拱券型面壁遥相呼应，形成空间内要素的碰撞与交融。

The encounter with the large area of natural light, the compression of the top of the space is gone, together with the warm tone of the wood, the soft leather rectangular futon cushion, together with the glass grille, and the opposite arched coupon-shaped facade echo, creating a collision and mingling of the elements within the space.

在皎月下为感官进献

专注于“月迹”的同时，也将其塑映在了每一处细节上。不难发现，线面间的明暗关系始终贯穿全案，无论是集中式的色基对比，还是微小处门把手的浮雕，都印刻着日月光影。

While focusing on the moon trace, it is also reflected in every detail. It is not difficult to find that the relationship between light and darkness of lines and surfaces always runs through the whole case, whether it is the centralised contrast of the colour base or the relief of the door handles in tiny places, all of them are imprinted with the light and shadow of the sun and the moon.

作为剧场主核，其入口处恰用弗莱文圆形剧场的历史概念，只不过更注重内敛的运用，将恢弘糅合进每一寸贴合人体的尺度中。当然也可以得知，拱券型面壁其实源自对“月”字的形状提取，加上黄铜质料、暖色温灯带点缀其中，整体作为主戏的序言，引人入胜。

As the main core of the theatre, the entrance is based on the historical concept of AmphitheatrumFlavium, but with a more restrained use of grandeur blended into every inch of human scale. Of course, it is also known that the arched façade is actually derived from the shape of the word moon, which is embellished with brass and warm-coloured light strips, and the whole serves as an intriguing preamble to the main play.

A tribute to the classics

with a long reverberation.

致敬经典 回荡悠长

“轻盈飞舞·沉静曼妙”是整个剧场内腔的主题，在功能固定的前提下，赋予空间始终如情绪起伏般的装饰。开场关灯的刹那，头顶的“繁星点点”转移至每一位演出人员身上。视听中，感受着舞台所带来的聚焦效应，而空间仍然收放自如。

The theme of the whole theatre is lightness and dance - calmness and delicacy, under the premise of fixed function, the space is always decorated like the ebb and flow of emotions. When the lights are switched off at the beginning of the show, the stars above the head are transferred to every performer. In the audio-visual sense, we feel the focusing effect brought by the stage, while the space is still free to be put back and forth.

明暗间，舞者巧妙地撷取每一位观众的目光。不只是表演者，空间正因交糅着源于敦煌画中的“水袖”元素，亦结合音符律动的要素，而幻似舞动着：台口与波浪纹天花造型，以及山纹木格栅暗门与木作面壁的精刻式样。

Between light and dark, the dancers skilfully capture the attention of each audience member. Not only the performers, but also the space is danced with the elements of water sleeves from Dunhuang paintings, and the rhythmic elements of musical notes: the stage mouth and the wave patterned ceiling, as well as the carved patterns of the wooden grill and the wooden walls.

场所精神应在满足功能需求的前提下，释放出其独具的在地性。也许是地域自身带来的文化优势(涞源梆子)，或是后来者对主体的界定。正如万物使人相联，“大乐与天地同和”，空间的情绪也将由诸位参与者共同谱写。
