Conteks is an architecture and design firm based in Antwerp, Belgium, with a team of seven people. They have been thinking about the fluidity of space, and believe that space, like people, has its own history, distinct personality and behavior, and if they are discarded, they can only get the surface, and if they are taken into account, they can interpret the real core of value.

The Conteks renovated this nearly forgotten group of buildings, transforming what was originally a private residential space with studios and exhibitions into a desirable hotel. The real charm of the Provence estate lies in the fields, the trees and the rolling mountains, and the whole estate presents a peaceful and peaceful atmosphere. Therefore, the designers wanted to enhance the interconnectedness between the building and the outdoor environment.

They made appropriate adjustments to the original building, expanding the facade openings and removing the garden walls in order to enhance the connection with the vineyard and ensure that the whole estate can be integrated with the surrounding nature. Carefully constructed large concrete volumes, terraces, private Spaces and increased paths between interior and exterior create an intriguing, unique and fluid experience.

Both the entrance building and the pool villa have separate staircases that seamlessly connect to the existing building. The lower level has been redesigned to create a terrace area with a 16-meter long swimming pool. Awnings and wooden canopy decorate the terrace and courtyard, not only enhancing the visual beauty, but also creating a comfortable place for residents to relax.

In the initial conception, Conteks took into account a variety of potential factors to ensure that the unity and synergistic properties of the materials were sufficient to produce a cohesive effect, combining the different building bodies to create a unique environment. Every detail of the space has been carefully considered, and each space has been constructed in an attempt to present a unique and memorable stay experience for customers.
