| The Upper in Tokyo

这是一家位于东京市中心商业区新落成的丸之内露台塔内的双账单餐厅目的地,两层宽阔的楼层上演着不同的文化交集。

A two-bill restaurant destination located in the new Marunouchi Terrace Tower in Tokyos downtown business district, where two spacious floors play host to different cultures.

一幅中世纪意大利风格的几何壁画，跨越两层，舒适地坐在一个宏伟的主酒吧旁边。

A mid-century Italian style geometric fresco, spanning two floors, sits comfortably next to a grand main bar .

在屋顶层增加了当地的现代家具元素，用户外露台模糊了室内。

Local modern furniture elements were added to the roof level, blurring the interior with outdoor terraces.

镀金电梯门部分露出华丽的翠绿色墙壁，顶部是格子黄铜天花板。

The gilded elevator doors partially reveal ornate emerald green walls topped by a latticed brass ceiling.

釉面蓝宝石蓝色标牌将客人招向定制的礼宾服务台，其古色古香的铜腿和弯曲的老化黄铜底座支撑着抛光的钢表面。

Glazed sapphire blue signage beckons guests to the custom concierge desk, whose antique brass legs and curved, aged brass base support a polished steel surface.

在古老的运输箱上饰有铆钉细节，巧妙地引用了场地的国际赞助。

Rivet detailing adorns the vintage shipping crates, a subtle reference to the venues international sponsorship.

A chunky modular granite bar combined with steel drinking shelves anchors the rectangular dining area. About 4.5 meters behind it, a backlit bottle tower is arranged on a Shibori blue lacquered lattice frame.

At the far end of the kitchen, which spans the central axis, sits a private chefs table, rendered in velvety gray plaster both inside and out. Referencing the surrounding high-rise metropolis, friezes of stacked glass blocks line the walls above the line of sight.

Midnight leather banquettes face the spacious views offered by floor-to-ceiling glass.

Kelly Wearstlers graffiti curtains and Anna Charlesworths seafoam white chandelier provide textural balance to the windows.

Popham设计的瓷砖排列在上层用餐区，就像图案地毯镶嵌一样。

Popham-designed tiles line the upper dining area, as does a patterned carpet inlay.

Custom dome-shaped bronze swing-arm lamps hover over round and wood-framed tables with marble marmoleum inlays that accentuate their swirling gray/mauve hues.

Green marble elements subtly connect the space to the basement level, as do the lattice wood framing of the skylight and the interlocking leather panels of the service station. Japanese plum-colored dining chairs coupled with cherry blossom pink and matcha green leather ottomans complement rattan armchairs and uniform teak joinery.

Chido餐厅

空格的串联干预插入了一个基于空间串联的组织系统。餐厅分为5个连续的氛围，交替使用两种具有独特品质的体积。

The tandem intervention of spaces inserts an organizational system based on spatial tandem. The restaurant is divided into five consecutive atmospheres, alternating two volumes with distinctive qualities.

第一种类型的空间是压缩的。通过使用 10x10 瓷砖和稀释房间限制的镜子组来实现最大的影响。

The first type of space is compressed. Maximize the impact by using 10x10 tiles and diluting the room limit with a mirror set.

扩展了第二种类型。这些沙龙覆盖着水泥树脂，顶部有镂空，露出黑色的技术天花板，增强了对比度。

Expanding on the second type. These salons are covered in cement resin and have cut-outs at the top to reveal a black technical ceiling that enhances the contrast.

它们之间的过渡起源于段落。这些交叉点的特点是弯曲的线条和粗糙的纹理。

The transitions between them originate in passages. These intersections are characterized by curved lines and rough textures.

The continuity between the contrasting limited spaces is highlighted by the constant  2,50 elevation. Above and below this limit, there are opposing connections between the upper and lower parts.

在纵轴上，压缩反射空间和较大哑光空间之间的顺序和对比度也证明了用途的划分。

On the vertical axis, the order and contrast between the compressed reflective space and the larger matte space also attest to the division of uses.

在压缩空间中，垂直元素和镜面天花板的选择扭曲了对空间中真实高度的感知。垂直霓虹灯、落地镜和光面瓷砖也支持 z 轴。

In compressed spaces, the choice of vertical elements and mirrored ceilings distorts the perception of true height in the space. Vertical neon, floor-to-ceiling mirrors and glossy tiles also support the z-axis.

In the larger space, the skeletonization reveals the inherited technical ceiling covered with a black vermiculite texture. This ceiling contrasts with the beige cement resin salon. All the fixtures are collected and hung under the black technical ceiling. The salon furniture breaks the beige color palette with oak, marble surfaces and patterned upholstery.

吧台和两张大桌子，一张用于私人餐厅，另一张作为沙龙之间的纽带，强调水平面。这些表面用黑色大理石雕刻而成，而它们的垂直平面则覆盖着镜板，以免引起注意。水平和垂直表面之间的接缝处填充着隐藏的LED，指出其在沙龙中的重要性。

The bar and two large tables, one for the private dining room and the other as a link between the salons, emphasize the horizontal surfaces. These surfaces are carved out of black marble, while their vertical planes are covered with mirrored panels so as not to draw attention to them. The joints between the horizontal and vertical surfaces are filled with hidden LEDs, pointing out their importance in the salon.
