Balzar Architects is an architecture and interior design firm based in Valencia, Spain, founded in 2018 by Jose Maria. Located in an Olive Grove on The outskirts of the city, The Olive Grove House is a link between the city and the countryside. With the passage of time, the local culture and the site history have profound precipitation, therefore, how to closely connect the environment, residents and architecture, creating a unique architectural complex has become the focus of the project design.

为了确保居住者的隐私，住宅内有三个朝向天空和橄榄树林开放的院子。其中一个宽敞的阳台，体现了温暖气候下典型的地中海文化，可以抵御西晒，并作为内外之间转换的

“中转站”；另一个则配置了户外的游泳池，平台一直延伸至橄榄树林中，可以欣赏壮观的日落；而立面上的大尺度开口将入口、花园和庭院与室内的所有空间串联起来。

To ensure the privacy of the occupants, three courtyards open to the sky and olive groves. One of the spacious balconies, typical of Mediterranean culture in a warm climate, protects against the western sun and acts as a transfer station between inside and outside; Another has an outdoor swimming pool with a deck that stretches into olive groves and offers spectacular sunsets. Large openings on the facade connect the entrance, garden and courtyard to all the Spaces inside.

It is a duplex house in an old building built in 1928, which is historically significant in the area and is part of the modernist development of Valencia architecture. The two internal floors are connected by a curved staircase, one of which is a public space with a multi-functional work area; The second floor serves as a private area for the owners and is equipped with a large terrace with a swimming pool.
