The creepy caves seem to be formalism, as we venture into the depths to show off the power and beauty of our vast ocean. Designed by Russell and George, Sarah - Sebastians Melbournes first boutique was an urban gesture and work of art, dating back to the citys streets and cities.
This eye-catching design indicates the type of work Russell - George likes to create. A unique relationship with clients and projects where their space transcends aesthetics and allows people to participate fully in the website and social environment.
The inspiration came from Sarah Gitteos, Creative Director of Sarah - Sebastian, who inspired the discovery by meeting in an underwater cave while traveling. The setting is dynamic and immersive, and is surrounded by cave-like landscape installations that rise and fall on the walls and ceilings.
The complex all-black material palette has a different sheen and intensity, capturing the spirit of the largely untapped world beneath the waves. To quote Japanese manga creator Arakawa Naoki -- “Even in the darkest depths of the ocean, there is always some light that penetrates”-- the use of lighting is controlled and applied directly to jewelry.
Hand-blown soot-colored glass pendants with color-changing light bulbs and hidden coral reefs create colorful upward lighting effects when the store is closed, enhancing the connection to the ocean.
The rest of the interior space consists of three simple mirrored forms with a jewellery display and a point of sale that enhances the existing type of space. A hidden consulting room for private jewelry discussions ensures the showrooms impact is not crowded.

ANEC is a perfume brand from Qatar. The task is to create an atmosphere of darkness and gloom with a sense of“Mystery”.
A space invites customers to explore every corner, every corner has its own story and meaning. There are four flavors in total, just like the elements in NSTURE.
“Bonfire Night” is about warmth, fire and passion. The warm light in the niche creates a sense of raw fire.
Waltz OF Blue is a perfume that takes you across the Seven Seas. Its about waves and elements and forces.
It was standing on a long tray with a faucet from the ceiling, from which water poured down. Near the perfume, a candle stands on a pillar, and the scent is the same as the perfume. The iron tree symbolizes eternity and perseverance through time.
“From inside” is a unisex perfume that looks at you from a male and female perspective. Therefore, the male and female sculptures look at each other.
“Jack OF ALL TRADES” lulls you into a dream OF its rich amber and Cashmere traces. It stands on a charred bough.
