Workroom is an Australian interior design studio specialising in commercial retail, residential and hospitality. Founded in 1999 by designer John Bornas and his partner Jo-Anne Gleeson. e residence, called Gallery House, is Workrooms latest project. It highlights the rhythm and rhythm through the volume, form and movement of the space, making the sculptural architecture more expressive and permanent. The concrete sculptural staircase connecting the vertical Spaces is an expression of the pursuit of craftsmanship and fluid movement, complementing the incoming light. Through a buffer space similar to a public foyer or entrance, a certain anticipation is created when people arrive, giving the private house an experience that is hidden from the landscape of the block.
