水晶宫在海南岛是一家有着二十多年历史的粤菜酒楼，主要服务于商务宴请。主打新派粤菜，因此在设计上我们也希望能用现代的手法去表达传统的粤菜文化。

Crystal Palace is a Cantonese restaurant in Hainan Island with a history of more than 20 years, mainly serving business banquets. It mainly serves new Cantonese cuisine. Therefore, in the design, we also hope to use modern techniques to express the traditional Cantonese cuisine culture.

The Recreation of Nature

这几间房属于餐厅的独立楼层，是在一栋楼的屋顶，当你走上这个天台，挡墙的设计让视线只能看到天空，庭院。

These rooms belong to the separate floor of the restaurant, which is on the roof of the same building. When you walk up the roof, the design of the retaining wall allows you to only see the sky and the courtyard.

在每个人的心中都有一个乌有园，就像梦境一般，以不同的形式呈现在每个人的脑海。园林是模仿自然，也是再造自然，是物质的，更是精神的。

In everyones heart there is a arcadia, like a dream, in different forms in everyones mind. Gardens imitate nature, but also to recreate nature, is material, and more spiritual.

Urban Forest

宋代诗人杨万里就曾说过＂城市山林两难兼＂，我觉得这句话特别应合我们的当下，尽管如此，我们依然不乏心中对自然山水的那份渴求。相比造园林的可能性，我们有更多的机会造庭院，造微景观。造园就是造一个小天地，是人们把山水的自然带回城市的一种方式，米芾就曾经提过“城市山林”的匾额。

Song Dynasty poet Yang Wanli once said It is difficult to have both mountains and forests in the city, I think this sentence should be particularly close to our present, however, we still lack the heart of the natural landscape that desire. Compared to the possibility of making gardens, we have more opportunities to make courtyards and micro landscapes. Garden is to make a small world, is a way for people to bring the landscape nature back to the city, Mi Fu once mentioned the city forest plaque.

庭院的设计在这里改变的不只是一种布局形式，更多的是增加进入餐厅的仪式感。把常规的观景变成游园，把原本在室内的走廊移到户外，再从户外进到每个房间，从动线上就是一种独特的体验。

The design of the courtyard here changes not only a layout form, but more to increase the sense of ritual into the dining room. Turn the routine view into a garden tour, move the corridor originally in the indoor to the outdoor, and then enter each room from the outdoor, the following line is a unique experience.

In Courtyard by Moon

月光是朦胧的，再透过黑色钢网看到的景色那就更加朦朦胧胧。而迂回婉转的廊道更是让人体验空间的丰富层次，带着窥探的好奇心引人入胜，就这样游走在步移景异的庭院。

The moonlight was hazy, and the view through the black steel mesh was even more hazy. And the roundabout corridor makes people experience the rich levels of space, attracting people with the curiosity of snooping, walking in the courtyard with different scenery.

这里没有太湖石，没有假山也没有瀑布。而屏风，建筑隔断，矮墙，水景就成为了庭院意境营造的元素，这种层层叠叠，错落有致的形态就是都市山水的意向转化。园林到底应该是写实还是写意已经不重要，重要的是空间氛围。

There is no Taihu stone, no rockery and no waterfall. The screen, the building partition, the low wall, and the waterscape have become the elements of the artistic conception of the courtyard. This layered and well-scattered form is the intention transformation of the urban landscape. The garden should be realistic or freehand brushwork is not important, the important thing is the space atmosphere.

童寯先生说过，庭园以深远不尽为极品，切记一览无余。

Mr Tong Jun said, garden with far-reaching for acura, avoid by all means take in everything in a glance.

在这里每进一个房间，就好像进到一个小宅院，有各自的入户门厅，充满着私属感。由于建筑局部本身是斜坡顶，所以在室内的设计上索性就利用了它坡顶的建筑轮廓，这样一来就更加淡化了城市中平层的建筑感，拉近了和庭院的距离。

Each room here is like entering a small house, with its own entrance hall, full of a sense of privacy. As part of the building itself is the top of the slope, the interior design simply uses the outline of the building on the top of the slope, so as to further dilute the architectural sense of the flat floor in the city, and shorten the distance with the courtyard.

在这种庭前月下好似与世隔绝，把这种待客宴请的场景变得诗情画意，把那些传统用各种名贵物料堆出来的俗气变成了悠闲风雅的气质。

In this kind of court under the moon seems to be isolated, the reception of the scene becomes poetic, the traditional pile of all kinds of precious materials out of the tacky into the elegant temperament.

Tea Before and After Meal

房间都配置了一张茶台，因为在粤菜文化中，茶文化是很重要的一环，在茶前饭后都是必备的环节，粤菜讲究的是食材原本的味道，流传着“民以食为天，食以味为先”的说法，用茶水来作为菜品的间隔，不仅去油、去腻，还能漱净余味，唤醒味蕾，品尝出粤菜的原汁原味。

Rooms are configured with a piece of tea table, because in cantonese culture, tea culture is an important part , is a necessary part before drinking tea and after eating , the cantonese cuisine is all about the original flavor ingredients, Theres a saying going around It is of great importance of eating and wether the food is delicious or not depends on taste, in the interval of the tea as a food, not only to oil, to be bored with, also can wash clean aftertaste, wake up the taste buds, Taste the original flavor of Cantonese cuisine.

路易斯·巴拉干感慨：“现代建筑已然放弃了灵感、平和、宁静、私密、等来自情感的语汇。”我所希望的就是唤回人们对于情感的期望。

Louis Barragan lamented: Modern architecture has abandoned the language of inspiration, peace, tranquility, privacy and emotion. What I hope to do is to bring back peoples expectations of emotion.
