Balzar Architects is an architecture and interior design firm based in Valencia, Spain. It was founded in 2018 by Jose Maria and his son Txema Garcia with his daughter-in-law Laura Moreno. Their works tend to create a simple, real and sincere material structure that does not need excessive decoration to show itself, making light the most important expression of space.

Casa Belvedere

Casa Belvedere住宅是Balzar Architects关于“当代美学”的一种全新诠释，同时又充分突显了对传统和场地环境的尊重。从建筑到室内，天然材料的使用唤醒了人们对过去的、传统的新的认知。这种可持续意识的积极体现，旨在探索真正的“美”，涉及“美学的、功能性的、与环境融为一体的、经济的、生态友好的、持久的”的讨论。

Casa Belvedere is Balzar Architects new interpretation of the contemporary aesthetic, while respecting tradition and the context of the site. From architecture to interior, the use of natural materials awakens peoples awareness of the past and tradition. This positive embodiment of sustainability awareness aims to explore true beauty and involves the discussion of aesthetic, functional, environmentally integrated, economic, eco-friendly, and durable.

Concave House

位于马德里的Concave House堪称传统与现代的完美结合，由上下明显的两部分构成，下部为当地的石料组成的支撑框架，上部轻盈的白色体块构成家居的主要功能空间。建筑体圆弧结构逐层内退，为二层的起居区提供绝佳的观景露台，同时舒展出外立面左右轴对称的节奏韵律。

The Concave House in Madrid is a perfect combination of the traditional and modern, which consists of the upper and lower obvious parts; the lower is the supporting frame composed of local stone; the upper convave House is the light white block which forms the main function space of the home. The circular arc structure of the building recedes from floor to floor, providing an excellent viewing terrace for the living area on the second floor and extending the axisymmetric rhythm of the facade.

Calicanto House

Calicanto住宅位于瓦伦西亚附近一个宁静且非常舒适的山区，建筑背靠山脉而面向开阔的平原。其屋顶徐缓上升的曲线回应了Balzar Architects的设计构思，使这所山地住宅拥有了明显的性格和符合当代的审美标准。住宅使用的建筑表皮肌理材料，借鉴于该地区的传统民宅，以回归对实际场地的尊重。

Calicanto House is located in a quiet and very comfortable mountainous area near Valencia. The building backs to the mountains and faces the open plain. The gently ascending curve of the roof responds to Balzar Architects design, giving the mountain house a distinct character and contemporary aesthetic. The buildings skin texture is borrowed from the traditional residential buildings of the area to return to respect for the actual site.

House in Los Olivos

坐落在瓦伦西亚Quesa城区与乡村田地的交界处，Los Olivos住宅具有强烈的边界感，形成了城市和乡村之间微妙地联系。住宅的横向体量与户外水池垂直相交，遵循着Quesa的城市规划，并与周边的其他房屋相协调，隐藏于自然环境之中的Los Olivos可完美地享受乡村田野和日落的四季景色。

Located on the border between the Quesa urban area of Valencia and the rural fields, Los Olivos house has a strong sense of boundary, forming a subtle connection between the city and the countryside. The horizontal volume of the house intersects vertically with the outdoor pool, following Quesas urban plan and harmonizing with the other houses in the neighborhood, Los Olivos is tucked away in nature to enjoy the perfect seasonal views of rural fields and sunsets.

Retirement Home

这是一个养老院的住宅项目，旨在打造为长者提供一种新的护理模式的居住空间，其概念建立在“使他们合理的、舒适的享受平常的生活”愿景之上。该地块拥有7000平方米的建筑面积，同时配置了广阔的绿地，他们可以在这里互相交流、同行散步、呼吸新鲜空气、锻炼身体和享受阳光。

This is a residential project for a nursing home, which aims to create a living space that provides a new model of care for the elderly. The concept is based on the vision of enabling them to reasonably and comfortably enjoy ordinary life. With 7,000 square meters of floor space, the site is equipped with extensive green Spaces where they can mingle, walk together, breathe fresh air, exercise and enjoy the sun.

House in Alfinach

House in Alfinach住宅位于瓦伦西亚的一个住宅开发区，毗邻自然山脉，坐拥群山景观。该项目面临的挑战是如何在狭长地块上设计一座180㎡的住宅空间，同时与地块的边缘保持距离，并确保与邻近住宅和花园的隐私。Balzar Architects在设计中使用了尊重当地环境和传统的材料，让室内外有效地连接，使宁静的自然氛围相互延伸、贯穿。

House in Alfinach is located ina residential development in Valencia, adjacent to natural mountains with mountain views. The challenge for the project was to design a 180m2 residential space on a narrow plot, while keeping a distance from the edge of the plot and ensuring privacy from the neighbouring houses and gardens. Balzar Architects used materials that respect the local environment and tradition in the design, allowing the interior and exterior to connect effectively, allowing the peaceful natural atmosphere to extend from one to the other.

Santa Pola House

Santa Pola House位于地中海和Santa Pola山坡之间。住宅建筑平行于海岸线，从横向排布的起居区向外望去，一侧可览开阔的无敌海景，另一侧则是高低错落的自然景观。而室内简洁素雅富有几何韵律，与建筑外立面形成视觉的呼应。

Santa Pola House is located between the Mediterranean Sea and the slopes of Santa Pola. Parallel to the shoreline, the residential building looks out from the horizontal living area, which offers panoramic views of the sea on one side and the natural landscape on the other. While the interior is simple and elegant with geometric rhythm, forming a visual echo with the building facade.

Balzar Architects受一对年轻夫妇的委托，打造其位于瓦伦西亚市区的住宅。与城市的繁杂喧闹相比，Casa S122很好的体现了“宁静居所”的愿景，这也是与业主一拍即合的共同想法。优雅、简洁、静谧构成空间主要的基调，建筑师营造了一种独特的、开放的、轻轻的居家氛围。

Balzar Architects was commissioned by a young couple to create their home in downtown Valencia. In contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city, Casa S122 embodies the vision of a peaceful place to live, a common idea that resonated with the owners. Elegance, simplicity and serenity form the main tone of the space, creating a unique, open and gentle home atmosphere.
