Andre Mellone was born in Brazil and grew up in an art family. He has had a strong interest in painting, art and design since his childhood, especially influenced by the modernist style that became popular in the last century. He now lives in New York. He has worked for a number of prestigious design firms before setting up his own studio in 2012, focusing on private residential, commercial retail and product design.
50 Rockefeller Plaza

The lobby of 50 Rockefeller Plaza, a 16-story art Deco building built in 1938 in New York City, has been renovated by Andre Mellone. The core of the design is to make the commercial building space more intimate and humanized, simplify the non-essential function Settings, and appropriate waste becomes an important place for the display of different materials and details.

25 Park Row Amenities is an apartment project in downtown New York, which contains 110 luxury units. Designer Andre Mellone drew inspiration from 1920s and 30s art Deco to create a series of distinctive public ar
eas for the project. The blend of classicism and contemporary style and contrast present a unique spatial atmosphere.
Upper East Side Home
由室内向外望去,Upper East Side Home可以俯瞰中央公园,绝佳的城市景观成为了这座住宅最有价值的所在。住宅的布局几乎是根据家庭的实际需要而“自我生成”的,设计师在住宅原来的配置上进行了局部改动,并于中世纪的家具设计中找寻灵感,为住宅注入了新的审美观念。
From the inside, Upper East Side Home overlooks Central Park, making city views the most valuable part of the Home. The layout of the residence is according to the actual need of the family almost self generation, stylist undertook local change on the original configuration of the residence, and seek inspiration in the furniture design of the middle Ages, injected new aesthetic concept for the residence.
